Another lost day with one client, a productive one with another. I switched gears yesterday and worked on a different group of people's stuff and I managed to get quite a bit accomplished for them. Even with having to have a phone call, I still managed to do more in 8 hours than I have with this other group in days. Some custom stuff isn't bad. It's called knowing how to fucking communicate. Just saying.
Finished work around 3. The weather was nice here and it's about to switch to nasty for the next few days so we took advantage of it. We fired up the grill and had burgers for dinner. Quite tasty. Watched some tv, then decided to go grab some froyo. Also quite tasty.
B finally finished the blanket she has been working on for months. It's a queen size blanket and has been killing her. But it's finally done! Now I get to spend an arm and a leg shipping it. Oh boy! She is actually charging for this one and that makes it a little better.
Today I am taking the car in for service, trying once more to work on the asshole's stuff, and just wishing this week was over.
