It is confirmed! I will be having drinks downtown next Tuesday with Stephen Few. I am pretty damn excited about this. Who knows where even an acquaintance with this guy could lead. He knows a lot of people. Not to mention it will be fun to talk to someone like him.
Today is B's birthday. Don't forget to wish her happy birthday people.
Worked on a myriad of things yesterday. Just things here and there but it added up and the day sped by. B went and got her OR license yesterday while I was working. That almost turned bad. We didn't think she would have to take a driving test, but for some reason they made her. Luckily they let her do it right then and there without an appointment. OR DMV is 1000 light years better than CA DMV any day.
When she got back we drove over to best buy where I got one of my 2018 perks from my company. I now have a nice shiny new PixelBook. Basically I have 12.3" tablet with a keyboard. But I am not complaining. I will put it to the test next week in TN. We shall see how it does.
Had Zoup for dinner and it didn't turn out well. Bad batch for both of us. Not good Zoup. Both of ours were watery and too salty.
B had group, I watched TV. Went to bed at 9:30 because I was exhausted.
A lot of the same today. B gets to decide on dinner tonight. Let's see what she chooses.
