I'm not happy with the placement right now and will work on that today, but I am happy with the amount of real estate. It's a seamless drag now across both screens because they are same make and model. It's dumb, but it helps. Gah remember when it was fancy to have ONE 21" CRT running at like 2048x1536? I do. I was so excited. Now I'm staring at 2 4K monitors. Sweet bejeebus. Oh and I should point out, work paid for that bad boy. Boom.
Taught my second day. I need a break today. I was making a lot of little errors because I just couldn't focus and keep things straight in my head. I need a day where I don't have to get up at 5:30am. Or earlier. I'm just kind of in autopilot but the classes are getting jumbled in my head and I was trying to do one demo when I should have been doing a different one. Shit like that. My class was good, the students were all good, it's just me. I need a break where I don't have to think. I am pretty much going to take today off. I just can't.
B made chili last night. She makes a really good chili. Have nice leftovers too. We need some more bread for it, but don't have to worry about dinner tonight at least.
Going to drive truck number 2 today. There are only 7 trucks in the class I am considering - Nissan, Ford, GMC, Chevy, Toyota, Jeep, and Honda. The Nissan is out as are the Toyota and Honda. The Jeep is just too damn expensive. That leaves the Chevy, the GMC, and the Ford. The Ford was fine but I just don't want another Ford. I think that's what made me hesitate the other day. There really was nothing wrong with the deal or the vehicle, I just didn't want it. The GMC and Chevy are basically the same truck just slightly different trim packages. Driving that today. If I like it and they give me a similar deal to the Ford, I might just take it. I don't like the look of the Chevy overall but I would be willing to give it a glance as well. Worst case, I wait until July and just get another Rogue. I won't be happy but this nightmare will be over. Wish me luck on that.
