I didn't finish until nearly 8:30 last night. I know we could go on about self fulfilling prophecy and garbage like that, but as I said yesterday, I hated the whole day. Look, this particular client is notorious for not showing up on time, not talking, and in general just not paying attention. Two groups yesterday and they totally kept their legacy in tact. In the first group, one person showed up an hour late, unmuted, and pretty much interrupted the class wanting me to get them up to speed. Excuse you? The other hard part for me is I can't understand many of the people from this client. Due to my own hearing issues, their accents and cheap microphones make it very difficult for me to understand them. This just drives the frustration level higher. And guess what? Another session today with them! Oh boy. Such excitement.
Obviously if I worked those kind of hours yesterday, it didn't leave much room for anything else. All I did after class was help B with her hair, watch a little tv, and go right to bed. So yesterday was a boring ass, annoying day.
Is this week over yet? Today I am going to get my paint after class. One thing to look forward to at least.
