As predicted yesterday was a whole lot of nothing. I got up, prepped a tri-tip to go into the slow cooker, started class, taught, put said roast in said slow cooker, taught, finished class around 2, napped for 45 minutes, ate dinner, went to the grocery store because B wanted to make banana nut bread, had B test drive a car, came home, helped B make banana nut bread, played Diablo for like an hour, went to bed around 11. Tada. The whole day. Right there.
Her bread came out extremely nice. She also liked the car and I emailed the dealer with my requirements. If she can pull it off, by this weekend I may be driving around in a 2016 Mazda CX-5. Yes, 2016. Suck it bitches. Saw my sister online last night in Diablo. We said hey.
I also have a friend in London helping me complete my Terry Pratchett collection. Some of his books are easier to find over there than here, especially the earlier ones. She has already found 2 of the six I need and that was just by walking into the local little bookstore at her uni. I found one of more I need from a used bookstore in London. It's on its way and will be here in April. As for the others, I have to wait until August when this person will be here for D23.
More teaching then a slow day tomorrow. We have a conf call with the people I am mentoring next week and dear god are they already pissing me off. They are extremely anal and wanting to review review review and I am more casual about mentoring. I hope we don't clash next week.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day btw. Yes, there's a corned beef waiting to go into the slow cooker this morning.
