I have been pondering whether or not to start a new blog once we move. It's a big enough life change that ending this chapter and starting anew isn't a bad idea. But then again, I like seeing how damn long I have been writing this.
Our friend is here. She flew in last night and we had the fun of going to the airport on a Saturday to get her. I will be driving back and forth from the airport 3 times counting last night this week. Fun stuff.
We spent the day cleaning in preparation for our house guest. Took a break for some Hawaiian food. There does not seem to be any in MI which sucks butt. I think I should start an L&L franchise there. Be the Hawaiian king of Detroit. Yeah, that works.
We relaxed the rest of the day while waiting to go. Had an early dinner. Yes, she got in late enough for us to have dinner. Got back, everyone chatted for a while, then I let them have the bed and I slept on the couch because I knew I would be up earlier than them. Probably not too much earlier, but still, up earlier.
Have no idea what we're doing today. As far as they're concerned, they could spend the whole day knitting and crocheting and be happy. Works for me. I am happy staying inside myself.
Three more days until B leaves. Hopefully some of the ones we have been looking at online will pan out.
