I had the worst day of my life yesterday. Yes, even worse than 10 years ago. Even worse than ever being fired. I got scammed. Yep. I fell victim to a perfectly worded email scam. I got what I thought was an email from my boss that turned out to be an elaborate phishing scam. I got ripped off for $1500 in gift cards. I know you're thinking how the hell did I fall for it. The person emulated my boss via work email so perfectly and the request was not out of line of what they would want me to do that I fell for it. And so did other employees. I wasn't the only one. They sent the email to the entire company and ended up taking us for over $5000 in gift card scams. I feel so stupid. I promise to never mock anyone for something like this again. I am lucky to have a job this morning to be honest. Never felt so dumb in my life.

Had multiple meetings. Got a lot of things accomplished on that front. That was the good part of the day.

Bought B a new laptop for work. She will be working with us on projects now. She's about to make the most money she's ever made per hour. I need to set it up today.

Got 1 of my two birthday presents finally. Got a robot vac. Neato D6. The other present is a new projector which is four days late. Not happy about that.

This week has sucked 10 ways to sunday and I just want it to be over.

Now to go pay bills and watch my money vanish some more.
