Y13 D32

 I woke up at 4:30 and said nope. Decided I'm going to sleep some more! For a whole hour apparently. Whee. Sigh.

Did lots of stuff for a day with no plans. Isn't that how it always goes? First off, I cleaned the fridge in the garage to get it ready for tonight. Tonight we will be taking all the food in the current fridge and transferring it outside. This will let us be ready for tomorrow's delivery. Then B had a change in plans. She was supposed to go over to her friend's for a birthday bonfire but alas the rain prevented that as his house had three inches of water. Instead she invited him and another of our friends and we threw and impromptu four person birthday. I had to go to the store to get some stuff, but it's all good. I BBQ'd burgers, made corn, had fries, baked beans, watermelon - a proper birthday BBQ. We all hung out, played video games, watched tv, ate, and we were able to take his mind off the 3 inches of water in his living room. See, he rents the house so there wasn't much he could do. Has to wait for the landlord to handle it all. That just sucks. To me no one should have a shitty birthday. I did my best to make sure even with all that going on, he could enjoy the one day. I also got a small ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. That part made him really happy. Just doing my part to make the world a little better.

Other than the food stuff, not much going on today. Gonna relax. One week until my trip bitches!
