So how'd you spend your friday night?
Oh went out, saw a movie, had dinner, hit the bar after for some drinks. How about you?
Well... I FUCKING SPENT MY FRIDAY NIGHT SUMP PUMPING A FRENCH DRAIN BECAUSE THE SECOND FLOOD IS UPON US. Had to help Noah get supplies on the fucking ark before we set sail. JFC.

I swear it was like waterworld in the backyard last night. Good news? Thanks to the work we had done earlier this year and me outside sumping the drain, we had just a TINY trickle in the basement this time. That makes me happy at least. But my hands are all cut up from having to pull shit out of the drain and it seriously looked like a water park in our backyard at one point. The sad news is more of it is coming. For the next week straight.

I also know many of you are experiencing ridiculous heat this weekend and you have my condolences for that. 113 in Portland is predicted for this weekend. 113. Wow. We would have been locked in the bedroom with two ac units and the cats. Fuck the rest of the house. I mean that's death heat. But you know, climate change isn't real.

Finished recording another class yesterday. Have about 5 more to go before they will all be recorded. Goal is to get three more done next week. Let's see how I do.

We decided on fried chicken last night and yes, I braved the storm to go pick up Famous Chicken. Was quite tasty and worth swimming a bit.

No real plans for the weekend other than prepping the fridge outside to hold all the food from inside, cleaning the inside fridge, and getting ready for Monday delivery. But that's not as big a project as it sounds. Couple of hours tomorrow and done.
