And in today's drama - B is sad because she's been giving one of the cats a pill twice a day and now the cat hates her. Which means it's now up to me to find an alternative way to get the pill inside the cat. Good times. We also got the $400 lab report back telling us why the axolotl died. Ready for this? "We don't know". Okay then, give me my fucking money back. That's obviously not what they really said, but their cause of death was so vague that they might as well have just said we don't know.
Other big news - bought a new fridge. It will be here on 6/28. My fridge goes to the basement. Why did we do it? Because while my fridge is beautiful, it's too fucking small. This last year of eating at home and buying more groceries has shown us that. Our current fridge is 20.1 cu ft. The new one will be 28 cu ft. That's a huge difference. Things will be less cluttered and shoved in. Downside, other than it was $1800, is that it's NOT counter depth and will stick out 6 inches. I am very worried it's not going to fit. If it doesn't, then I don't know what to do. We shall see. May be ripping some cabinets out. We got a Samsung French door, bottom freezer. Oh and it has ice and water which we've been missing.
Other news - heard from an old friend yesterday. They are doing well. It was nice of them to reach out and catch up.
I spent the day recording. Almost finished. Have 6 demos left. May work on them this weekend just to get it off my plate. Went to the grocery store in the morning. I did observe something across the 3 stores. People wearing masks still seemed a bit more polite and less angry than the non-mask wearing people. Anecdotal observation for sure, but very interesting.
I don't know what we're doing today.
