Silence.
The best birthday gift. Yep, it's my birthday! I did manage to stay up until midnight. Woke up to four birthday greetings. Three new steam games as gifts too.
Yesterday was good. I went to my hearing test at 6:45am. Good news, bad news. Good news is my hearing is just fine for someone my age. I have perfectly acceptable hearing loss, minor, and at the upper end. Exactly what I should have. Bad news? My hearing is just fine. I do have an appointment for hearing aids on Friday but the audiologist said it's a 60% chance it will help with my issues. They do a 60 day trial so if I don't see improvement, I can return with no issues. Fine. I will try. 60% is the highest number I have gotten so far.
Dinner was incredible. I am literally still full. I had to stay up last night just to let my stomach settle. Everyone was on time, we all had a good time, and I got a book and a charm bracelet with some cute charms. But I seriously can't eat anything all day. Not if I am going to have cake tonight.
I have a dentist appointment at 11, pick up the cake at 1pm, and that's it for the day. Two friends are coming for cake tonight.
