Oh look, I am awake. Why? Why? Sigh because.

The day went pretty well yesterday but the early evening did not. The blow out I have been dreading finally happened. The fact that this place is too small for the amount of people in it came to a head. The kid and B had a huge blowout, the kid broke down, B stormed off, and I had to put all the pieces back together. I know the pieces fit...

It all started because the kid is super stressed and she made a snarky comment that really pissed B off. She had every right to be pissed. This led to me and the kid having a much needed heart to heart. One that involved her telling KBF he needs to get his shit in line. And about them spending more time somewhere else AND that she is ready to get on with her life. It was a long overdue good talk. In the end I settled everyone down, apologies were distributed and things are okay. BUT thank god this is the light at the end of the tunnel. They get the keys to their place Wednesday and this house will feel a little bit bigger.

All of that happened between 2:30 and 5. A very tense window. At 7 we had some friends come over to do a tech rehearsal. We went through all of the cues, all of our timing, etc. After we had pizza and played CaH. We wrapped up about 10:30 and I cleaned up until about 11. B had to be up at 6:30 this morning and she fell right to sleep. It's all good. Tonight she has a company event at a local theme park which I will be attending with her. This should be interesting.
