I have slept like a log the last couple of nights and it's been nice. Solid dreams too which tells me I am actually sleeping. Getting down into REM. Never complain about that. Never a sufficient amount but that's a different story. At least I am sleeping.
Fun day yesterday. Got up and went out for some errands. We primarily went out to pick up some stuff for the show tomorrow in Reno. Some batteries, some cups, misc stuff. We then stopped at the pumpkin patch for a couple of pumpkins. B had fun with that. While I may be jaded about some things, I know she still gets a kick out of them and I do not want to disappoint her. Let her have her fun. Because despite my crankiness, I know I will have fun too.
Managed to find an excellent value at the thrift store. We were looking for a globe for cast, which we found for $6, but we also stumbled on a nightstand for $20. I have been needing one since she moved in and was very pleased at this discovery. It's the perfect height and width for the space. Love it.
Got home and relaxed for a while before heading over to our friend's house for a pumpkin carving "party". I use the word loosely as it was a very quiet event. We watched a couple of movies while everyone focused on their pumpkin. They had a great spread of food out which was nice. We all sat around carving and eating. B did a scooby doo pumpkin and I did a skeleton face. We also picked up two baby pumpkins and she made a Harry potter while I did Perry the Platypus. Those were just hand drawn ones. They actually came out pretty good.
Headed home around 8:30 and got into bed around 10. She stayed up later but I crashed right away.
Working for a little while this morning then heading to RENO!
