Today is the day they get the keys!! Not that they're going to be out today but it's one step closer! The plan is to get a truck on Thursday, but damn we are so close. By this weekend I may actually have some room in here. Won't feel so cramped finally.
Worked on stuff for both an upcoming class and an upcoming trade show. The first week of November I have to be in Vegas for an industry trade show as I am working the booth a couple of days. As a result, I am responsible for putting together some of the demo material we will be showing. Not too strenuous other than waiting on other people to deliver things. During lunch time, B and I went over to Kmart at her request. She put together a 'care package' for the kid and KBF for their apartment. She spent about $50 and inside a laundry basket gave them some essentials for their new place. All her. I had nothing to do with it except drive. She put in paper towels, a broom, air freshener, qtips, kleenex, dish soap, toothpaste, etc. When the kid saw it last night she got all teary in a good way. It was a very sweet thing to do.
I had a coworker come over around 7 to drop off some files and copy over a server instance. I haven't seen him in a while. One of the few coworkers I like. Got that all done and B and I relaxed. We watched Torchwood, Project Runway, and then sat in the hot tub for a while. That felt good for both of us. We both needed it.
This morning I volunteered to help a client with a problem they are having but otherwise it's a lot of the same today. Then I have three days of training, two parties, and then a trip to Atlanta. Whirlwind after today. Better enjoy it while I can.
