Been up for a while but not too long. Not too shabby seeing as we didn't get home and in bed until 4. Show night. Fun shit. And Halloween has officially begun for us with last night's show. But more important was our day yesterday. We had an 'us' day. We stayed off the computers and phones for a good part of the day which was great. We moved around furniture, hung shelves, hung pictures, and spent the whole day together. Even a shared nap. The place finally feels like 'ours' since we rearranged things in a way we both like. I think it also helps B feel more like it's her place and not the she is living with me and intruding on the space. Which is a good thing. That took us from about 8 until probably 6 or so. We stopped at the door for some food for dinner, watched Supernatural, and played Disney Infinity. Started getting ready for the show around 8 and headed out about 9:30. Everyone was in good spirits. Even though we were short handed, everyone pulled together and we did great. Our first sell out show of the week. We will have at least two more sell outs in the next few days. We are off to Reno tomorrow for that show, then back in the City for Thursday, and then one more on Saturday. Welcome to Halloween for cast. It's also very cute when B gets possessive. There was a girl trying to join cast and she pissed off both B and my director at the last show because she was messing with their men. Seriously. She was getting her boobs way too close to our director's husband and she was touching my ear to 'look at' one of my piercings. When the ladies saw her last night? The claws came out. I was flattered and it made me feel special and loved. Yeah, I know it's dumb but who cares. Still felt good. My director and I were talking backstage too - she really loves B. Things were just good last night and that's all that matters.
Today is a pumpkin carving party. bring it.
