Up at 2:45am, yay travel day. I have to get B up in less than an hour. This will not be pretty. She is not used to having to get up and take me to an airport. If I had known it would be such an issue I would have arranged transportation. Live and learn.
I am typing this today from our RECONFIGURED PLACE! WHOO! Our place is finally fixed for two of us. We spent the whole day yesterday reorganizing and we both are SO happy. The difference it makes. I knew it would be a domino effect once the kid moved out. It was like everything just fell in line.
We got up yesterday at a decent time, had breakfast and left the hotel. Got home around 9:30 and started in. By three we had the majority of it done. Two desks, the printer, a reading nook where the desks used to be, and more room in our room. When I get back from this trip we will tackle our room, the hall closets, and the kitchen. By next weekend everything will be situated. We are both so happy. I know I have said that five times already but it's true. Things are just in their place.
After working all day we treated ourselves to Taco Bell. We earned it. Came back, watched some TV and then headed to bed at 8. I slept in chunks as I usually do when I have to travel. Too paranoid to sleep, too tired to stay up. Story of my life. Whatever.
