I slept in! Yay me! Today is not officially a holiday for me, but I also have nothing scheduled or on the books. Therefore it's not like I can do a whole lot. The advantage of being a trainer.

I slept well last night. B didn't. I don't know what the fuck happened with her last night but we got back from having dinner and running a couple of errands and she turned into a mess. I know ti might sound cliche but fucking women and their hormones. Seriously. One minute they are happy having a great time and the next they are clingy and crying because they thought of something that happened in the third grade.

The day itself was fine. I taught, finished around 2. After class we didn't do much of anything. Watched a Psych, played a little Batman, waited for UPS, etc. After UPS came around 5 we went out to the store to pick up some things we needed for the rest of the week. Nothing major, some side dishes for dinners, napkins, etc. We then stopped at the Mexican place we like on the way home. Everything was fine. We ate dinner and started watching a new show. THAT'S where it went downhill because I actually asked for something. The show we were watching was The Librarians. I fucking loved it. It was corny, funny, with enough nerdy stuff to keep me interested, not to mention a great cast. Fifteen minutes in I hear her 'UGH". "What?" 'It's just like the Doctor.' "Oh yeah, I guess it is." 'I hate it.'

Okay. That's nice. I don't. Anyway, we finished eating and the show was about half over. She asked me if I would watch the rest in the other room. I said no. I have given up the TV every night for like the last week for her and her viewing options. I held my ground. She didn't even want to watch anything on TV. She wanted to watch some video on her laptop. I said it's easier for you to watch that in the other room on the bed than it is for me to watch this on the desktop from my office chair. I was in the right but who knows what button I pushed. Apparently that was enough to send her emotional roller coaster a riding. I finished my show and went in the other room and she was knitting and falling asleep. Okay. I tried to take the laptop away and knitting which after a battle worked. Then no more than five minutes after turning off the light I get a message "come cuddle with me". Ugh really? I was in the middle of dealing with another email from Comcast and was stressed out. Fine. I go in the other room, try to lay there and she is having emotion city. I finally get up because I can't take it and she goes in the other room. 15 minutes ago you were falling asleep?? I do some stuff and join her on the couch. We sit for about 20 minutes and she wants to go back to bed. Ok. This time I join her in bed. I think everything is okay but nope. We are laying there and she says "we need a hobby". I say "no, I have hobbies. YOU need a hobby" "but I want one we can do together" *SIGH* "okay make some suggestions" *silence* 10 minutes later I hear her get up again. Nope. Not doing it. Stayed in bed and fell asleep.

This should be a fun morning.

Today is a show. Big show. We are announcing that we are married. I am emcee and it's NYE. Whee.

Hard time falling asleep last night which has led to a rough waking up this morning. But just need to get through the day and I am done for a while. Tomorrow I am going to go over my schedule for Jan and Feb because I am not 100% sure what the heck I am doing or where I am going.

Taught during the day. 2 students which made for an easy class. It's a challenging class but they got it and they made it through with no issues. We finished up about 45 minutes early which is what I anticipated. I expect about the same today. Napped after class which is what screwed up my sleep last night. Resolution for 2015 - no more naps. They fuck me up too much. I love them, but they're too hard on my schedule. Got up, waited for B to wake up, then made dinner. Some chicken. Nothing exciting. She then went on a marathon of Downton Abbey. I went in the other room and organized files. Speaking of which, I got my first 'we see what you're doing' email last night. Seems three of the 200 plus files I downloaded in the last couple of days raised flags. Oops. I got very stern letters from Comcast reminding me that transferring copyrighted material is a no no. I worry they can actually do something about it, but then again, if they do, then that means they are sniffing my packets which means they have violated their own rules. I just worry they will shut down my service. That will cost me more in terms of work than anything else. I am going to back off downloads for a while outside of my synched folder which is encrypted. Next up I will pop for the $40 a year for a VPN connection. Any suggestions on which one to use would be appreciated. This way they won't have my IP address next time. I just don't know which one to use or how they work.

Went to bed around 11 and then tossed and turned. Hopefully tonight will be better. Tomorrow is NYE. Need to prep for the show. I have no idea what to do for a game. I always hate that part. It's annoying and takes up time and is hard for me.

Time to get ready for class. One more day.

Y6 D217

Only a few days left in the year. Amazing. We will be as close to 2000 as we are to 2030 soon enough. Numbers like that boggle me. I was thinking about it in the shower yesterday, I was born in 1968. The sixties basically. Now, granted it was the end of the decade and I really grew up in the 70s and more so in the 80s, but even that. Someone who was born in 1980 will be 35 next year. I was 2 years away from high school. Time is an odd construct. And we can't avoid it.

I had a lot of time to think yesterday. Not in a bad way. B got up in the morning and was coughing and feeling like hell. I went to the store to get her the Tussin and some more flea meds for the idiots. I don't know what to do short of bombing this place to get rid of these damn fleas. They just won't go. Came back, gave B her meds, and she proceeded to crash out for about 5 hours. From 11-4. So yeah, I had some alone time yesterday. Not really complaining. I managed to get all of OZ (the HBO prison show, not the happy stuff), all of The Wire, and all of The Fresh Prince of Belair. I also decided I am going to start watching The Librarians. See? I had a useful time. I also dyed my hair, applied meds to the cats, and played Lego Batman.

When she finally woke up, she commandeered the TV from me and went on a Downton Abbey binge. All good. She is still coughing a bit but her screwy sleep yesterday kept her up until 2:30am. I went to bed around 10:30 as I have a class today and tomorrow. Two students, system administration class. This should be interesting. But I get through them and I am 'off' until next week. So two days of my life in exchange for 5. Yeah. I can deal.

Y6 D216

Moving a little slow today. Woke up originally at 5:30 but sat on the couch and fell back to sleep for a couple of hours. Not complaining, just a little fuzzy.

The morning was spent yesterday cleaning the house. Well, B cleaned the house, I hid in the other room. Not until after I had put a roast in the crock pot for dinner. THEN I went and hid in the other room. Took her a couple of hours to do. I then started making cupcakes for dessert. Sticky toffee cupcakes. They came out really well.

The only blip on yesterday was when I went to take out the garbage at one point and decided to start B's car. Nope. Too long between starts. Dammit. We managed to jump it so I will make sure she tries starting it again today. I keep telling her she needs to and nope. One ear and out the other. Whatever.

The kid and KBF came over around 3:30 and we had second Christmas. They bought us a Ariel robe for B, a Doctor Who blanket for me, and then a giant Stitch Tsum Tsum for both of us. Which means it was really for me. They liked their presents, especially the crock pot we got them. Got the kid some books, clothes, and other little things too. She was happy.

They stayed until about 8:30. We had the roast, talked, played a game, had dessert, and overall had a lovely night. B watched Downton Abbey after they left, while I played Diablo. I got a little tired around 10:30 and headed to bed. B came in later around 12.

I will say this again - I like that she doesn't trip out about us going to bed together. I know some nights we all want that, but in general when someone in this house is tired, they go to sleep. No hassle, no judging. That includes naps too. You're tired? You're going to nap? Great, I will be quiet. That's it. No bad juju. I like that.

Today there is nothing on the agenda except video gaming and TV. Yay Sunday!

Y6 D215

Pretty good day yesterday. Long, but good. Got up and got ready to go out. Our friend came over around 9:30 and the three of us went for a drive to downtown Old Sacramento. It was an adventure. Traffic wasn't bad, took us only about 75 minutes. We got there right into time to have lunch. Unfortunately lunch wasn't as good as last time we were there but we think it's because they had an off day due to the holiday. It was still good, just not quite as good as in the past.

Our friend had never really been to this area and he wanted to see as much as possible. We then walked around until 2ish and did some shopping including the taffy store. That was our friend's favorite part. Left around 2:30 and got back home around 4.

Around 6 we went and ran a couple of errands including getting stuff for making dinner tonight. Grabbed Freebirds while we were out. Got back and B's headache started coming back. It's a migraine that's evolved into a low level cluster. She went to bed around 10:30 and I stayed up to play Batman. Went to bed around midnight.

Today the Kid and KBF are due. They are coming to have second Christmas. This should be fun. Making a roast in the slow cooker and we shall have a good time.

Y6 D214

Ah the day after Christmas. The day the bills come rolling in due, the hangover of yesterday sneaks up on you, and over all you go what the fuck just happened? It's not so bad around here. We had a good quiet Christmas and everything was budgeted for so no surprises come January.

Woke up at 4:16, and amazingly enough B was up at 5:30. We toasted some bagels and settled in to open present at 6. Took us almost 2 hours to open everything. Got some nice stuff yesterday. Some practical, some silly, some decorative. Highlights include a new vaporizer battery, a really nice leather laptop case for the road from B, a framed shadow box from B which has all our Guest of the Day stuff in it - I really was surprised and touched by that gift -, Nakamichi bluetooth headphones for the road (they rock. I tested them yesterday and man they are great. I might even use them for teaching.), some clothes and shoes (a nice pair of boots and Keds), a new 5tb hard drive, a really sweet 7-port USB hub, Lego Batman 3, and some books. There's more, but I always feel guilty listing out everything. I don't know why, especially here, but it just seems like everyone always judges. B enjoyed her presents as well. She said something to me while we were making dinner that really made me feel good. She has disliked Christmas as she has gotten older because it felt like no one listened to her or seemed liked they knew her when it came to giving presents. She was always disappointed because she would get the most random stuff and not know how to respond. Therefore she was always uncomfortable opening gifts in front of other people. But with me, I listen. I really do when it comes to gifts. I buy people things they actually asked for on their lists or posts or whatever. Take this one item for example; I got her a crystal pineapple shaped candy dish. Back at the end of October she sent me a link to an auction on eBay for this thing saying she wanted it. I said okay. That was the end of it. I bid on it, won it, stuck it away, and bam, Christmas gift. She was blown away by that simple gift because she remembered wanting it and figured it wouldn't happen since no one buys her things she wants. In the end she was elated with everything Santa brought her. I gave her Christmas joy back. And yeah, THAT"S what Christmas is about. Spreading joy and happiness. I just happen to do it with presents because that's what I am good at.

We did go to the store after opening everything and putting stuff away. We wanted some lunch and things for dinner. The store was a fucking madhouse. Just crazy. We got what we needed and left as quickly as possible. That was it. We were back in. Since B got up so early she took a nap. I cleaned up things and started working on setting up the new HDD. I am using it specifically for movies which meant I needed to move 1.53TB from one drive to another. That took all day. I just started the process of adding them all back in from there new location. While B slept I played Batman. Yay Batman!

When B woke up I made dinner. We relaxed together, opened new stuff, checked out some of the stuff she got, and headed to bed around midnight. A good long day. Today I am taking the day off because fuck you, it's the day after Christmas. I don't understand how office workers are expected to work today. It's just dumb. Work Wednesday and Friday. Um sure. So much is going to get done today. Nope. Not going to do it. Taking the day off. We are going to head out with a friend and have a nice lunch.

Y6 D213

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!

I slept until 4:26am, that's good enough right? I can get up now? I can haz presents?

I tried to sleep. I really did. But it was a 'shift sleep' kind of night. Every hour to hour and a half I was waking up. I honestly just got tired of waking up so often. Now I am up and I will give B until at least 7:30. I can find ways to kill 3 hours.

Yesterday was pretty good especially the night. B had a doctor's appointment in the morning which wasn't good. The appointment was fine it's the stuff surrounding the appointment that wasn't. Too vague. Let me elaborate.

She has no insurance right now. It would have been $550 a month additional to add her to mine. Yeah yeah, that's pre-tax and all that shit, but that's a lot of fucking money. I should be able to easily find her personal for less than even the pre-tax total amount. Plus I was rushed to pick a plan, you remember the whole fiasco. Regardless, because of her situation, she uses Planned Parenthood to get her birth control. She was supposed to have a program in place, but now that we're married, I make too much money for it to qualify. The ladies at reception rudely informed her of this. Plus PP tries to make every patient take a pregnancy/urine test to get more money out of them which B refuses every time. These two factors caused the girls at reception to be mega-bitches towards her. The flipside is she had a wonderful experience talking to the nurse once she got through the doors. They spent an hour discussing how each of the pills has been affecting her, which would be the best, and which would be the cheapest and where. In the end she got a 1 year script which she used at Walmart for $9 a month. When she was done I came in to pay (she doesn't like me inside before and I don't blame her as it is typically a female place and a man sitting there can be weird) and I didn't know of any of the stuff between her and the reception people. They were rude as hell to me and I didn't know why. I found out when we left. If this sounds all too familiar, yes, this is basically the same experience she had last time at the one near our old place. Almost identical. We then headed to Walmart and since we were just going to the pharmacy it wasn't bad. We were in and out. Grabbed some A&W on the way home.

We napped not too soon after getting home. She took a long one while I played Diablo waiting for her. For dinner we had leftovers to clean out the fridge. Then we settled in for Holiday TV. We did Frosty, Nightmare Before Christmas, Grinch, and Charlie Brown.

Then we had Christmas Eve Sex! Oh yeah baby. Next thing you know it's 10:30 and I am out for my first 90 minute sleep. I woke at midnight, 1:15, 2:30, and finally 4:26. Sigh.

May all of you have a blessed and wonderful day with your friends, family, and self. I care for each of you and have you in my thoughts.

Now bring on the presents!

Y6 D212

I AM FREE! Well for five days at least. For the next five days my time is mine. No shows, no obligations. In 18 hours it's Christmas. Yes, it is my favorite holiday. The hell with Halloween. Who cares about Thanksgiving? This is the big one bitches. This is the real deal. The one we all love even if we won't admit it. The grand daddy of them all. Christmas. Boo-yah.

Got through class without any issues and finished around 2. Took a nap until about 3:30. At 4 I went and checked the mail and there was a check in there we had been waiting for from Michigan. We did get back almost $1100 of the monies paid for the church and reception for Greenmead. They kept $200 but whatever. We took that money and went to the bank. But not a normal bank trip. We closed out B's accounts at Chase and moved her over to Wells. We now have a 'joint' account. I say joint like that because it's really her account but I have access to it so I can transfer money when needed. When she was in MI she needed some money and I had to go to the bank and do a deposit. Fuck that. She now has a Wells account with almost $1200 in it as we had the check, cash from her old account, and some cash in our wallets. That took us about an hour end to end, but it was worth it.

Got back home, made dinner, and watched the Festivus episode of Seinfeld in honor of 12/23. After B started getting a headache so she tried to watch Downton Abbey while I took care of stuff in here, but she didn't make it long. She was up and down all night with some stomach and head issues. I fell asleep around 11:30 but I know she was up and down.

Today, she has a doctor appointment at 9:15, while she is there I am running to CVS to pick up some supplements I am out of, but that's it. Once we are home it's pants off and wait for Santa time!

17 hours, 47 minutes.

I also promise I will not bug any of you at midnight. Maybe.

Y6 D211

One more bloody full day to go and it's Christmas. So close I can taste it. If you go to the Norad Santa site, he takes off in 18 hours. Isn't that weird? Time zones. What a concept.

Taught all day. Good group. See, I am back to the more technical classes which attract a much different calibre of student. Aka Not Morons. We had no issues during the class and I expect us to finish hella early today. I am sure everyone in class will appreciate that. Once this one is over, I am done for 5 days. After class we went out for Italian and to look for some more stocking stuffers at Cost Plus. We actually went to look for a lamp as I need a new one in the office. We ended up moving the one in here to the living room the other night when we had people over and we both like the amount of light it adds out there which means I lost my lamp in here. I am okay with sitting in the dark most of the time, but sometimes I need some light. We didn't like any of the lamps, but B found a purse and we got stocking stuffers. Not a waste, but not what we set out for as a goal. Whatever. We had a nice dinner at our favorite Italian place. We also brought the waitress there a $25 Target gift card. She has been the nicest person in town since we moved here and we wanted to say thank you. It made her night and ours to see her happy.

Came back and I found another hot spot in the carpet which I took care of as well as wrapping the above mentioned purse and stuffing the socks. We both went to bed around 11.

The year is going to end pretty mellow I think. I am emcee for NYE I found out yesterday. That makes me happy. Other than that, there's not much going on around here. Our neighbor upstairs is still driving us crazy. The white trash neighbors got a puppy and are letting it shit everywhere. You know normal stuff. We both decided we love where we live - we love the interior, the design, the location, the space, the grounds - but we both hate the neighbors. All of them. Life. Deal and move on.

Let's get this class over, shall we?

Y6 D210

It's Christmas week!! We are just a few days away!! 67 hours to be exact!! WHEE!

Had a pretty good if unexciting day yesterday. B caught up on her shows, I added new ones (Chicago Fire, 3 seasons; Seinfeld, 9 seasons) for her to watch when she is ready, and mostly we just hung around the house. I bitched earlier on social media that I dislike this time of year because it's almost impossible to just run normal errands. There's too many dumbasses out that going to the store for razors becomes a three hour ordeal. It's easier to just stay in the house. So we did. I had a package coming from Amazon also and I didn't want to miss it.

Around 5:30 a friend of ours stopped by as he was home bored too and the three of us headed out to Chili's for dinner. We had a nice time eating and talking. Finished up and headed back home around 7:30. He is one of the few people with whom we are exchanging gifts and we did our gift swap last night. Everyone walked away happy. I got a Scrump stuffed toy, B got 3 Nora Roberts books and a roll of sticky whiteboard paper. We got our friend a Camelbak bag he wanted. Everyone was pleased with their gifts.

Around 9:30 he left, I started prepping for today's class, and B watched some TV. Headed to bed around 10, she followed at an unknown time.

Today and tomorrow, four students. Then FIVE DAYS OFF. I can do it.

Y6 D209

88 hours until Christmas. More importantly, two classes to teach next week and then I get 5 fucking days off. Yeah baby!

Yesterday was a busy day of cleaning. We had friends over last night and B wanted the house spotless as usual. I stayed out of her way for the most part. I spent a good portion of the day working on file renames, grocery store, prepping for dinner, etc. She took a nap around one point and I spent the time by going to OSH to get her a new shower curtain rod.

Around 6 I started cooking. We were doing a 'traditional' Festivus kind of night. Dinner therefore was meatloaf, spaghetti, garlic bread, corn, and mashed potatoes. Americana at its best. We had a fun night. Our guests brought dessert. A surprisingly good red velvet cake. We then played board games until about 1:30 and we went to bed.

Yep. That's it. My Saturday.

Y6 D208

Yesterday was a never ending day. I didn't go to bed until 3am. I wish it was because of fun or enjoyable reasons. Alas, it was because of hellish reasons. Let's see if I can put this day into some semblance of order.

Got up, started class. Another full class. Another class where 2 or more people were late. I am getting real sick and tired of this. Don't tell me to just start without them either. You know what kind of whining and bitching I would hear if I started class without these people? Not to mention having to repeat myself because they missed something in the first ten minutes. Fuck that. By the time I started class I was already perturbed. Then I had at least two idiots on class. JFC. This was the week of idiots. I should mention, I haven't taught this series of classes in a while because our other instructor has been doing them while I am on the road. I do these ones for groups, but I haven't done public ones like this in months. The public classes I tend to do these days are more hard core and the students typically are of a higher caliber because they have to be in order to be in the class. I had forgotten the level of student who takes these classes. F.M.L. I did manage to get through the day a little early, but it was a struggle.

At lunch, I spent the entire time prepping for what was to come after class. I needed to pick everything off the floor so we could do the flea treatment to the carpet. That meant presents, furniture, everything under the bed, etc, had to be up. I spent my entire lunch doing that.

Class ends and I fall down on the couch for 30 minutes. A whopping 30 minutes. At 4:30 I start treating the carpets. It takes me about an hour to get everything done. At this point we need to leave the house. Off we go to the mall. We are scheduled to meet some friends for dinner at 8 and B needed a new suitcase so we decided to kill time doing that. THAT turned out to be great. She got a 21" American Tourister for 60% off. Regularly over $250, I got it for $109. Nice. While we were in the store, I went into menswear. I have needed a new pair of grey pants and found not just pants, but a whole suit for $129. Grey sharkskin. Tie, jacket, and pants. 50% of regular price. Score. But that wasn't the best score. My vacuums have been having issues. My stick one (about 5 years old now) just doesn't suck like it used to and it's a stick. It's mean for small pickups like cat food spills in the kitchen. I also have a canister but it's in need of serious repair work. It's almost 10 years old and has a short in the cord, a broken belt on the head, and could just use a service. But it's a Miele and trying to find a service center is a pain. Not to mention, it's a $100 minimum just to drop it off. Hence why we have been using the stick. Well, for giggles we went into Sears to look at current ones. I swore I would not replace mine unless it was as good or better. Good luck since my canister was $1100. That means either another one in that range, like a new Miele or a Kirby or Oreck. Or I come down a little into the Dyson range, but the Dyson's are still $500 up. They happened to have the DC39 Animal on display. Seems that Sears is discontinuing it because it isn't selling at this store. It's regularly a $500 vac. The last one, the floor model, complete with everything, was being offered for $175. Done. Ours. Christmas present to both of us. At that price, until I can fix my Miele it's perfect. We were so excited to use it.

We met our friends for dinner at Texas Roadhouse, had a great time, then went across the street to WalMart to get stuff for the house and for tonight. We are hosting a Festivus celebration at our house tonight with two other couples. This will be fun. We were both getting tired but we knew we still have to go home and put things away. We got home around 10 and as we were bringing things in the house, B drops a jar of pasta sauce on the ground right in front. Ugh. Glass and sauce everywhere. I go and clean that up, then finally we put things away. Mind you, the house is still a disaster because everything is off the floor. We then start part two of the flea treatment. Neither of us realized it took two hours to do. Fuck. We have to let this sit until 12:40am. Sigh. Okay. So we wrap presents, do dishes, start all the laundry that needs to go for the flea stuff (cat bedding, blankets, etc), and wait. Before you ask, yes we wrapped the suitcase. Um duh? Side note, there are 127 presents now currently under the tree. Yay consumerism!

At 1am, we finally have everything done, off the floor, and we are good. The new vac has been used and brought tears to both of our eyes. It's incredible. Happy but tired we start to go to bed. Nope. Fucking cat has pissed all over the bathroom floor. MOTHERFUCKER. Exhausted, I then have to wash the floor, the mat, and clean up the mess. All said and done, I didn't get to bed until 3 because of the cat.

Today better be less stressful or I will snap.

Y6 D207

I have never been happier to see a Friday. This has been one long ass week. I get through this class and I am done for the week. Granted I only get two days of respite before 2 more days, but at least this week will be over.

I had a full house yesterday and went right up to the money again. Mostly because out of the 12 students at least three didn't belong in the class, three knew me and had a million unrelated questions, and 3 were beyond the class and asking a million questions. The remaining three were perfect students. I got through it all and collapsed on the couch. I didn't mean to but I fell asleep for about 30 minutes. When I woke up, I started to prep for dinner. I made a nice pork loin last night. After dinner we both were craving sweets so we headed to the store. Around 8:30 we went back out. Why? Because B discovered fleas still on the cats even after bathing. Well duh, the majority of fleas hang out in the carpet. Bad thing to say. We were then at Petsmart getting carpet flea shit so the minute class is over today I can take care of that. So much fun.

I will say it's nice having her home. Even if she is being clingy and has a cold. I do need her in the house. I won't deny it. I am much more stable with her around. Yeah I guess that's about it.

Last day, let's do this!

Y6 D206

Day 4 of being up super early. I am awake dammit. So awakasffjfskas

Huh? What?

Ok. I am here.

Nothing major happened yesterday except me having to report a student for stupidity. She just was not keeping up in the advanced class and she is signed up for the expert class today. I normally finish yesterday's class with about 30 minutes to spare. Yesterday I finished with ONE minute to spare because she kept asking the same questions over and over. I reported her to my boss saying either the material is too much for her or she just simply isn't paying attention. Either way, she was a distraction for the rest of the class. I can have patience with people in the beginner and intermediate classes, but not the advanced and definitely not today. I have a full class again today and I cannot spend my time babysitting one idiot. Side note - I calculated out how much I am making the company this week - just under $36k. Not bad for one week. I am covering my cost for sure this month. In total we will finish out December with around 60k for the month just from me. Not too shabby.

After class I didn't do much. B is clingy after being gone (self admitted) so I sat with her and we started to catch up on some of the shows we watch together. We did do something together which was way over due - we bathed and flea treated both of the cats. She found some on my cat which led to a whirlwind of baths, laundry, and meds. That was needed but exhausting. Around 8 her cold was hitting her real hard and I ended up having to go to the store for Mucinex. She needed something specifically to loosen her up. I know it helped because we both slept solid last night. Her cat hates her now though after the bathing. She snuggled next to me all night on the opposite side of B I believe on purpose. Yeah take that for bathing me! Silly cat.

Before bed I exchanged emails with my boss about the next couple of weeks. I am scheduled both Mon and Tues the next two weeks but that's it. I wanted to know if I needed to take PTO or if he had anything. I checked and even before this week I have 78 hours of PTO left. I get 8 hours per week and taking the four days off wouldn't kill me. He wanted to give me all four as comp but we decided to make the books look good I will take two comp, two PTO. Which means in the next two weeks, I will have 4 working days with 12 days off. Booyah. I can handle.

Alright. Let's see if this student shows. Two more days to go.

Y6 D205

I recovered from the alarm fiasco but was all tweaky all day. Here's irony for you though:

At the end of class (about an hour or two afterwards) I get an email from my boss with like 900 people CC'd on it. I am thinking oh jeez who did I piss off in class now. Because some of my students were not up to par as far as skills and were driving me nuts. I also knew these same people, who were taking a Beginner/Intermediate class, are going to be in my ADVANCED and EXPERT classes today and tomorrow. Really? You could barely make it though the fucking beginner stuff and you think you're going to keep up in an expert class? Fuck you. Anyway, I was expecting a 'they didn't like this or they were upset about the server issue on Monday' kind of email. Nope. Instead it was praise for me as one of the students was so impresses he wanted to PREPAY for four more classes in 2015 as long as I will be the one teaching them. BAMF bitches. That's how it's done.

I was also in contact with B yesterday as she made her way back home. Once more she had trouble in DFW just like me and a million people do on a regular basis. I think in 2015 I am going to specifically try to contact through ORD or PHX more instead of DFW. See if that keeps me happier. I am already booked on 3 different trips in Jan and Feb already. Fun fucking stuff Timmy.

B finally landed around 4:20 and our friends picked her up. With traffic and baggage and them being slow as fuck, they finally got her around 7. We all went out for dinner, I treated them as they did make the drive through some gnarly traffic for me. They left and B and I settled in to unpack everything. She brought home some cool stuff like a Charlie Brown Xmas Tree and her great grandma gave me a gift - $25. Woo hoo! Hey it made her happy so what the heck. For someone in her 90s and in Detroit, that's some cash money right there.

We finally got to bed around 10. I am glad she is home. Three more full days of teaching, then two more next week, and two more after that. Damn I am booked hard this month.

Is it Christmas yet?

DAMMIT. I slept through all my alarms. Didn't wake up until 5:45. I am stressed TWO days in a row.

Got up yesterday early to check B in for her flight and had a ton of time to kill before class (unlike today). Yesterday morning was bad. I had no server. Had 12 people on class with no server. I had two people trying to reach my boss.

At 9 I had to basic suspend class until I reached someone. I looked like such an idiot. Luckily I did get ahold of someone and didn't have to cancel class completely. I had class restarted at 9:45 and I cut lunch to 30 minutes to try and make up for lost time. We did pretty good. We are only one module behind but I usually have a buffer in the morning of the second day anyway. I am going to eat that buffer this morning and keep us on track. I should still be able to finish class on time today.

After all of that fiasco I was just worn out when class was done. Not tired, just worn out. And THEN my calendar pops up to remind me I have a 4-5 meeting as well. Fuck. Sat in on that call for a full hour. Finally at 5:20 my day was done. I just flopped on the couch but THEN I realized fuck I still need to do laundry. Fuck. Started laundry, had some dinner, watched a couple of shows, still doing laundry, played some Diablo and finally finished up with laundry around 10:30. Collapsed into bed and called it a day.

Obviously I was tired as today has started off so lovely.

Y6 D203

I have 2 hours until 12 people are expecting a class and I have no server. And of course no one is responding. And I have to check B in for her flight in one hour. And I have to reassign the login for the class since I wasn't supposed to teach these anyway. Ugh. Hello Monday fucking morning.

Yesterday was pretty dull except for the upstairs neighbor going at it again. Stomp goes the elephant. I sent a scathing note to the property management company. Hopefully someone will follow up. Also hopefully someone will shoot the fat fuck in the head. Look, I am not against the guy because he is a big guy, but he shouldn't be on the second floor. He's too fucking big to be above someone. It's not just me either. The office people have heard it first hand. He stomps. Hard. Fuck.

Made a cornish game hen for dinner. Served it with mac & cheese and creamed spinach. Finished season 5 of Rookie Blue. Cleaned the hamster cage. Washed dishes. Blah blah blah. Laundry tonight. Vac tonight. B home tomorrow.

Whee.

Y6 D202

Had a pretty decent day yesterday. Had to go out at one point for reasons which kind of pissed me off. I had to go to the bank, take out cash, and put it in B's account at Chase. Why does that piss me off? Because before she left I gave her $300. While she has been gone she has been buying stupid shit and paying for too many of her slacker's friend's stuff. Which means I am paying for their shit. She knew how much she had going into this trip and I feel like she abused it just assuming I would be able to bail her out. I almost wasn't. Seems if you don't have a chase account, they will not let you deposit cash into someone else's account due to money laundering issues. Luckily they were able to accept my Chase credit card. They need to be able to have a paper trail of anyone who deposits cash was their explanation. Regardless, I was already pissed that I had to go out and put money in the bank and now it was a hassle to do so.

Other than that I had a pretty decent day. I watched some TV, was finally able to get my timesheet and expense report done, played some video games, tested the new laptop out on the TV with an HDMI (side note, this is the first computer I have had with an HDMI out and I wanted to see how it looked as I think I am going to start carrying an HDMI cable in my bag. This way when I am sitting in hotel rooms I can run the laptop to the hotel TV to watch stuff. Hence why I was testing it.), and generally did stuff for me. My friend came over around 7 and we went out for sushi. Found a place here in town which, while not the best, is satisfactory for this area and to quell my needs if I want it. We tried to head downtown after but none of the places really fit our tastes. As a result we just came back to the house around 8:30 and sat and chatted until 10.

I putzed around for a little while more and then went to bed around 11. The house is pretty clean as I got rid of garbage yesterday. Going to do a surface clean of stuff later today but mostly Monday as B is back Tuesday. So yeah, up at 6:30 for no good reason.

Y6 D201

Dear god it's 8:30 and I am just getting up and doing this. What a slacker I am. I guess I needed the sleep though. I went to bed around 11 so that's only 9 hours but for me that feels too long.

Yesterday I was up at 5, did my morning stuff, then at 6:30 I went to the grocery store, Home Depot, and FedEx to mail packages. By this time yesterday I had all my day's tasks completed. See why I like to get up early?

Came back from running errands and tried to catch up on work stuff. I say try because the client I was just at isn't entered into the system. Turns out they never signed the contract. D'oh! Basically I worked last week for free (not me personally of course, but you know what I mean). This isn't the first time with this client and we know they will sign it, it's just one of those fun amusing times where we realized what happened. I did some work reading instead that I have been meaning to catch up on. It's the stuff I would normally do this time of year instead of being swamped.

Made myself some mac & cheese, chicken breast, asparagus, and cottage cheese for dinner. Watched a couple of episodes of Rookie Blue, talked to B, and went to bed.

Today is house cleaning followed by dinner with a friend.

Y6 D200

I am home! So nice to sleep in my own bed. Weird having an empty house, but nice to be home regardless.

Got up way too early yesterday. My mind was thinking since I was leaving a hotel I probably need to be up early. Not this time brain. But thanks for trying. I got ready and then sat because it was too early to go over to the client. The 'big storm' had started. It definitely was coming down and the wind was high, but it was not the panic crisis everyone was making it out to be. I hate over reaction.

Let's put it this way:

- yes the storm dropped a large amount of rain in a short amount of time
- it was more rain than most areas drainage pipes and sewers could handle
- there were definitely flash floods in some places - SOME
- power was lost in a few areas due to transformer issues

Notice what all those have in common? They're all infrastructure related issues for the problems. The cities infrastructure couldn't handle 3 to 4 inches of rain. Yeah. 3 - 4 inches. NY gets 2 feet of snow in 2 hours and survives. We get 3-4 inches and we shut down schools. Idiots.

I got through my day, finished up around 3:30 and got on the road. I was home a little after 5. About 90 minutes for 84 miles. Not bad in a rainstorm. Got home and my friends were still here that were watching the house. That kind of threw me off because I wanted to unwind and relax and I didn't end up really starting to wind down until they left close to 8. We did run over to the dollar store where I picked up some more wrapping paper and took care of stocking stuffers. One more thing off my list. While I was gone, the bulk of our Christmas presents arrived. Only about 4 things are still enroute. Everything is scheduled to be here by 12/18. Almost done. I have 2 more things to buy at the store today but that's it.

Once they left I settled in to start wrapping. B called and bitched about her family at me for a good 30 minutes. It was one of those "uh-huh. yep. they do suck. yep." kind of calls. I don't know why people continue to be around 'family' when all it does is piss them off and make them angry.

I finished wrapping around 11:30 and went to bed. The friends did the sheets for me before they left so I was able to climb into a well made, clean bed. Nice.

Today is paperwork, a couple of errands, and season 5 of Rookie Blue. Oh and groceries. There is NOTHING to eat in this house.

Y6 D199

The "Storm of the Century" has apparently begun outside. Seriously schools in certain areas have been closed. Um... it's raining. Like 2 - 3 inches of rain. That's it. NY just had 12 feet of snow in like one day and we are closing schools for 2-3 inches? WTF is wrong with us? Don't get me wrong, I am not going to enjoy driving home in it later tonight, but it's not life threatening. Sigh. Humans.

A shout out to my niece who just graduated high school six months early. Damn smarty pants taking after me with her big brain. Good job kiddo!

As for me, I taught all day, stopped at Panera on the way back to the hotel for food (because I didn't want to go out later if the SotC had started), settled in, and finished season 4 of Rookie Blue. I did talk to B or shall I say, I held the phone while B bitched about everyone in MI. I don't want her going back there anymore. Every time she is around or deals with those people she slips back into an angry bitchy person. It's annoying as hell.

Went to bed around 10. Had a rough night but it's because I left the heat on and it got way too stuff in here. Last day and in roughly 13 or 14 hours, I will be back home. As of right now, I should have little to nothing to do tomorrow except wrap presents. Yay me.

Y6 D198

Back to boredom yesterday. Nothing as exciting as people with guns. No, just a room full of students, a few of whom are a real pain in my ass. Older women who think they know everything. I have a feeling this group is not going to give me good feedback. There are just some people who rub against my personality and there's 3 of them in this class.

Got onsite at 7. My contact? Late. She shows up at 7:30. The room is awful. It's not a training room. I can't work in a conference room. It was too hot, insufficient power, bad layout, etc. From here on out, we need to send an 'onsite training checklist'. I just added a task to my list to do this on Friday. That would save me so much time. There are 12 students in this class and only 3 showed up on time. That pisses me off. Which of course meant I started class upset. The remaining 9 trickled in between 8 and 8:30. That's total bullshit as far as I am concerned.

Finally started and got through the day. We finished right around 4 miraculously. Headed back to the hotel and power watched Rookie Blue until 6 when I walked over to Wing Stop. Brought that back and continued watching until 9:30 when I decided to go to bed.

Did talk to B in there. She is not having a good time. Her family's arguments are getting to her as they keep trying to drag her into them and pick a side which she refuses to do.

Today and tomorrow then I can be home tomorrow night. It can't come soon enough.

Y6 D197

I had one of the biggest scares of my life yesterday. One of those moments that every parent dreads. I was in the hotel around 3:30 when the kid pings me on Hangout. There was a guy with a gun on campus. My heart stopped. She was locked in a classroom one building over. I told her we were not getting off that chat until I knew she was 100% safe. I knew she was a little freaked out too so we chatted about inane things - Disneyland at the end of January, Christmas presents I found for KBF at the mall earlier. While we were talking I was reading everything I could on what was going on. At 3:22 there was a report of a guy with a gun. No shots, no nothing. Someone just saw someone with a gun. At 4:30 they gave an all clear and she headed to her car. I told her she was staying with me in chat until I knew she was in her car on the way home. Talk about the longest hour of my life. Fucking people with guns. Why can't we have better control? Why can't people not be idiots? Ugh.

I am at the hotel, yes. I got up, changed the sheets, cleaned the litter boxes, took out garbage, and watched Rookie Blue. I am through Season 3. I really like this damn show. I didn't want to leave too early and I think I did okay. I left at 10:30 and went to a mall near here. I wanted to pick up a couple of small things to balance out the present numbers. I ended up finding me a t-shirt, some boots, a book, and one of those puzzle keeper things. I got B a calendar, KBF a Hickory Farms thing, and a board game for some friends. A productive trip.

Got to the hotel around 2:45, checked in, and then well, you know what happened from 3:30 - 4:30.

Around 5:30 I headed over to CVS to get some stuff, then dinner at Chili's. After dinner I had to go to FedEx to get the manuals for tomorrow. Unfortunately they weren't ready and I made a scene. I stood up for myself for once and told the person that I would be back right before close. Went back to the hotel, watched more rookie blue, and at 8:30 walked over. I stopped for yogurt next door to give them some more time and at 8:47 they finished up my manuals.

Came back, got ready for bed, and crawled into bed around 10.

Day one of three about to start.

Y6 D196

Did so much nothing yesterday but man was it good. Left here at 2:30 as planned, got to the airport at 3:34. Unfortunately the ticket counter doesn't open until 4 but as both B and I agree, better to be early than late. At the same time, this made for a very long and frustrating day for B. She had a horrible travel day and she doesn't handle it well because unlike me who has more options available, she ended up getting kind of screwed all day.

I dropped her off and it seemed things were okay. I went and met friends to drop off the house keys and have some food. Left them and was back home around 5:30. I decided to take a little nap. At 6:15 my phone rings - B's flight is being deplaned due to a defective light. She is freaking out telling me to change her second flight. I am not awake and not comprehending what is happening. This of course makes her more upset. I tell her there is nothing I can do because the ticket is in her name and she has to do it once she gets off the plane. By now I am awake and understanding. This doesn't make her happy at all and she basically hangs up on me. I hear from her about an hour later telling me she has a new 8:15am flight to Dallas but then a five hour layover until MI. See, there's the difference between me and her. I would have pushed for an earlier flight AND I would have been hopping standby on every flight I could. If she tried that they would charge her. She ends up getting to DFW and then has to sit for not just five, but seven hours due to a delay. When that first flight of the day is off, every flight thereafter gets screwed. Needless to say, not happy on her end.

On mine, I managed to fall back to sleep until 7:30. A whopping two hours of sleep. Yay me. Did my morning stuff, then steeled in to catch up on Rookie Blue. While I was watching I got a nice email from the hotel letting me pre-check and select the room I wanted. Nice. When I get there today I will already know where I am going. I ended up watching 9 episodes yesterday. Damn. But I also packed, cleaned the fridge, dealt with the cat having an accident, vacuumed, did all the dishes, organized files, and took out garbage. While watching 9 episodes. Oh something really cool happened yesterday. I got a Sunday delivery from Amazon Fulfillment Services. Add to that list, wrap presents. Around 9 I came in here, played a little Diablo. Mostly because it wasn't until almost 12:30 EST that I finally heard from B. She didn't get in until 11:30, needed to arrange transportation, and finally had gotten somewhere. She was going to chit chat for a while then bed. I went to bed around 10:30 myself.

Today I am off to the client. Leaving here around 10:30 because I want to do a little Christmas shopping at the mall. It's about a 90 minute drive to the client with no traffic so this way I will get there around noon. Do a little shopping, head to the hotel, settle in for the night. Be back home Thursday.

Y6 D195

12:30am so technically it's Sunday. We are leaving in 2 hours to take B to the airport. She is off for her ten days of Christmas fun in MI. Whee. Me, I leave Monday for a client in Sacramento then back on Thursday. Whee.

It was an okay day. Mostly we rested and got things wrapped up before we both leave. A little Mexican for lunch, some last minute errands like cat food, wrapped some presents, watched a little TV, had pizza for dinner, then B went to bed around 8. I slept from 12-4 so I am okay for now. I can come back home and sleep after dropping her off. I have to stop by my friend's house on the way home to drop off keys, but should be back home by like 7.

I did deal with one issue and that's the cat pissing all over the floor. She is getting worse at making the box. I know she is starting to decline but how do you have that conversation with a vet? Yes, please put my old ass cat to sleep. Not sure how to approach the subject without looking like an evil asshole.

Sigh.

Time to shower and get out of here.

Y6 D194

Have to watch the clock. Need to check B in for her flight in 48 minutes. Yes, that's why I am up so damn early on a Saturday. I really would prefer to be asleep to be honest but whatever. I have never been able to sleep late even as a kid. Always felt like I was wasting the day.

Once B told me we would never have sex every night because she needs to time to recoup but every other night would be acceptable. Well this week we have proven that theory. Yes, last night too. Seriously, M-W-F. I am not complaining mind you, just the opposite. It's always a wonderful way to end the day.

Speaking of the day, finished up my class. We went over on time and didn't finish up until 3:11. That's what happens when you have a big class who wants to ask a lot of questions. After class I don't even remember what I did. I didn't nap, I know that. I think I worked on updating media files. On that topic, in the morning I placed the final Amazon Xmas order. On there is a new 5tb drive for me. Once that arrives Santa may open it early. Put movies on one, TV on the second, music and pictures on the 3tb. I am ready for 10tb drives please. God just the concept of a 5tb is crazy to me. I truly do remember dealing 20mb and 30mb drives. Huge drives with special adaptor cards. God, I remember dealing with cards. If there's one thing I do love about these damn Macs is I don't have to crack them open and swap out video cards or HDD cards. Around 5 we went out for dinner at our favorite Italian place. On the way back home we stopped at the Smoke Shop where I got B a baby hookah for Xmas, a new tank for the vaporizer for me, (day 70 today btw without a cigarette), then we stopped at CVS for some hair dye. I have switched to a new color that B really likes and I will agree looks extremely natural on me. "Natural Dark Neutral Blonde". Yeah I know. Dumbest name ever. They had a sale on 2 boxes so now there's one under the tree. God I love Christmas. There's 7 individually wrapped bottles of Vernor's Gingerale under the tree because I am a dork and idiot.

Did my hair while B finished reorganizing her music library for her trip. All done we headed off to the other room around 9:30 and next thing you know it's 11. I fell asleep. I have no clue what time she fell asleep. I wish she would get her clock readjusted to normal people time but whatever. She is gone for 10 days starting in less than 24 hours and I plan on enjoying the time and not making minor grumbles.

You know, I don't say this enough, but goddamn she makes me fucking happy. Not just the sex - it's everything. She is affectionate, caring, a pain in the ass, and perfect for me. We were talking about it last night; neither one of us is romanticizing being married. None of that 'on our best behavior' bullshit. We grumble, we moan, we share, we laugh. I have waited all my life for this kind of relationship. One that fits me like an old shoe, but challenges me at the same time. Keeps me young while keeping me grounded. We all deserve a relationship like this. May all of you find yours if you haven't and if you have, hold them fucking tight.

Y6 D193

Been up for a little while but had to pay bills. Didn't get an email about my cable bill but luckily it's on my list of monthly bills. When we moved they changed our payment date which has been messing with me. I was 4 days late but I paid last month and this month at the same time so there shouldn't be any issues. This is the second account I have been having a problem with getting bills by email. I haven't received a Verizon bill in months. But since I keep my own list I haven't missed anything. The cable one I missed because they changed the damn dates. Sigh. It's all fixed now.

Taught all day. Rough day. Day 2 of this particular 3 day class is the roughest. It's a lot of information in one day. We finished around 2:30 and I had a bit of a headache going on and decided to sleep. Plus B was in pre-travel cleaning mode and I just wanted to stay the heck out of her way. I know she is going out of town and will be gone 10 days, but I will only be gone 3 of those so it's not like I won't be home to clean. Regardless, I understand where she is coming from and it was safer to just go in the other room and be out of the way. I slept until 4 and then we went out to get her some stuff on her list for travel. That included new underwear, a new makeup bag, and some vitamins. After all that and braving the idiots out there shopping, we grabbed some Taco Bell for dinner. Worst experience ever. Bad service. They tried to overcharge me by $10 and I had to pull out a calculator to show them why they were wrong.

Got home, played some Diablo with a friend (yes, I multi-played, amazing) and went off to bed. B was in final stages of packing and again it was safer for me to be in the other room. It was about 10:30 when I went off. I have no idea what time she came to bed.

Last day of teaching, weekend, travel on Monday. Travel on Sunday for her. This end of day can't come soon enough.

Y6 D192

Woo! More sex! I think B just wants to fit in as much as possible before she heads off to MI on Sunday. No complaints here.

Christmas presents started arriving yesterday. I was pretty impressed at that fact. I mean two day shipping? Damn. I am about to place the second round tomorrow. They will have 19 days to get here which hopefully shouldn't be a problem. The bulk gets here starting tomorrow through next week. The remaining stuff is just some smaller stuff and something I actually need - the new hard drive.

Taught all day, took a little nap after class, made dinner, watched Psych, wrapped presents, had the sex, fell asleep.

Amazing how you can sum up an entire day in a single sentence. I mean sure, there's lots of little things that happened yesterday like the one student who is a pain in the ass. Or B's mother texting her to see if she is going to help clean out the old house while she is there. (The answer is fuck you.) But in reality, that sentence? That's what went down yesterday.

Life is okay and summing it up isn't a problem.

Y6 D191

I hate being stressed out upon waking up. The trend is the cat when that happens typically and this morning is no exception. Woke up to a note from B that the fucking cat missed the litter box again. I did a bunch of research yesterday on elderly cats and how many of them are suffering long before it shows because cats, like men, are stubborn fucks and don't show it until it's so bad they have to show it. Which means this cat really could have been in pain and dementia even longer and she has just managed to hide it. I am considering euthanasia for her, but I feel like I will be judged if I take her into a vet. But I know my cat. After a lifetime together I *KNOW* her better than some vet. She is not happy.

Spent yesterday on conference calls. Hours long calls. One with a university and the other with my client in Reno. Upside? Both calls resulted in confirmed gigs for January and February. Starting to line things up in 2015 already. That's the plus.

Paid rent. Did laundry. Helped B pack. Power watched a ton of Rookie Blue. Booked my trip (finally!) for next week. I will be gone M-Th. Of course that's when all of the fucking presents are arriving. Luckily our friends can stay here it looks like without it being a problem.

Went to bed around 11, B around 2 it would seem. That's what time her note said.

Teaching the next three days. Then it's time to get B ready to go on Sunday. Truth be told, I am looking forward to time alone at home. Yes, I will also be on the road a few of those days, but I also get six days at home by myself. I need them.

Y6 D190

Way too little sleep but worth it. B and I finally had enough energy for sex. Yay! Neither of us have been up to it, then me being gone, then her period, it's been a long stretch. But we finally made some time last night and boy was it nice. The day was spent mostly driving followed by sitting and waiting. Since I had nothing major on the calendar yesterday we decided to use the day to go to the Social Security office and change B's name. Have you ever spent a day at SSA? No fun. Especially when you have to drive out there twice.

I get up, do my morning stuff, answer some emails, prep for some work for today, and then I order Xmas. Yes, all of it. I had all my gift cards come through so I took care of all my Amazon orders. I spent way too much even with the gift cards, but everyone will be happy. I have a second set coming this week so there will be a second Amazon order on Friday, but much smaller and almost nothing out of pocket. But between those two orders, Xmas is done. 40+ presents for me, B, the kid, B's sisters, three couples, and one friend.

Around 10:30 we head. SSA is about 30 minutes away with no traffic. No problem. We get out there only to realize B forgot all of her papers. I decided we were going to go back out there today after my meetings so we had some lunch, went to TJ Maxx for B to get a couple of tops for her trip. We did good. She spent like $40 but got 2 pairs of leggings and 2 tops. Not bad.

On the drive back I got some emails which blocked out my afternoon for today. Originally I only had meetings until noon. This meant yesterday was our only day for SSA. Who is only open from 9-3 and oh look, it's 12:45. Shit. Get the papers, back on the road. Things are okay until about 1 mile away when we witness a semi accident. One smacked into another. We were right near the front and it was scary as shit but we got through with no issue just about a 10 minute delay.

Check in to SSA at 1:35 and sit. And sit. And sit. Finally at about 2:40 they call us, takes 5 minutes, done. We get back home around 3:30. I go do some work, B decides she wants to wax. Okay. Around 4:30 I start dinner. Made a nice pork loin rubbed in oil and garlic. After dinner B goes and finishes her waxing. I putz around on the internet debating whether to buy something off Good Old Games. They have all the original Leisure Suit Larry games for $10. I may crack today.

Around 7:30 she finishes up and comes in to show me her handiwork. Fast forward to 9. We are both happy but not tired. We sit on the couch with ice cream and cuddling watching Rookie Blue until midnight.

Nice way to end a long day and my work break. Today I have mentoring sessions from 9-11 and then 12-4 so it will be a long day. Then tomorrow through Friday I teach. Whee.

Y6 D189

Yesterday was okay. My neck is finally feeling a little better. We made a decision yesterday to send B back to MI for some time in December. Since we don't have to go back in May now, we used some of the miles I have been stockpiling. She will be going 12/7 - 12/17. She is excited about it. After we did all that she started to figure out what she needs to bring and realized she is no longer used to living in snow and had to rethink everything she normally wears. That meant a trip out. Sigh. We went to the nearest Old Navy to get her jeans. That's 20 miles away. Old Navy, Ross, and $100 later she had what she needed.

Came back home and she watched TV while I played games. I got super tired around 9:30 and went and laid down. Next thing I know she is waking me up and I honestly don't know what time it is.

That was my exciting Sunday.
