Travel day. Hence the 2am post.

You want to know the best thing about the new bed? It's not the incredible mattress, oh no. It's the extra 16 inches in width we gained by going to a king size bed. THAT is beyond words. Being able to the for the first in forever, not have to sleep on the edge of the bed is something I just can't describe in words. It's the feeling I get in hotel rooms when I can sprawl out. Now I have that at home. Amazing.

Ran a couple of errands yesterday. Nothing fancy. Just a quick trip to the store. B decided she wanted to reorganize our linen closet since we now don't need most of it. See above. Everything we owned was queen size. Sheets, blankets, etc. Now none of that fits. We gave her cousin two sets of our better sheets, held on to a couple for the future and prepped the rest for donation. This resulted in an empty cabinet which led to picture hanging which led to moving a light fixture which etc. I ended up doing a lot of stuff around the house yesterday. Laundry, vacuuming, light fixture moving, oh boy. Not complaining though. It was all good.

Had chicken for dinner, then I went to bed at 8:30 and slept until 1:45. Long day ahead of me. I land in NJ at 5:30 eastern. I did get one upgrade confirmed already. Here to DFW. Okay. I am cool with that. At least I will get breakfast. It also looks like I will be at the same gate for my flight to EWR. Makes things easier. Might even be the same plane and crew. Be nice if I had the same seat too. We shall see.

Two days of teaching in NJ with two days of travel. Let's do it.
