Look out Canada, here we come! Leaving in about an hour to drive up to the border and get on a ferry. I am anxious and excited about the ferry part. Never brought a car onto a boat before. I assume it will be easy and something they do every day but still nervous. 4 hour drive to the border.
Guess what it did yesterday? It rained! In beautiful drops from the sky. Almost all day on and off it was raining. So glad to see it back. Heat be damned. When we get back I should be able to pack up these damn AC units and have the wonderful cold back.
So remember how I had issues at the east coast client? I did the exact same material, in almost the exact same way to a private group of 5 yesterday. This group was west coast. Not only did the material go over great, they fucking applauded me at the end of the day. Applause. From a remote group. Yeah. That's the difference when my personality meets east versus west mentality. And this wasn't some casual tech company. It's a billion dollar plus, 200 hundred year old power company. They fucking loved me. We even went over by 30 minutes because they wanted to do more. Boom.
Class was later yesterday and went until almost 4:40. Finished up and started packing stuff up. Had some leftovers and crawled into bed around 7pm. Slept until midnight. I am awake and ready for our Canadian adventure to begin!
