Ah the joys of two hour chunk sleeping. Why do I suffer from that in hotel rooms so much? Is it the bed? I don't do it at home any more. Just on the road these days. Fear of waking up on time? I should do more research into that.
Left the house early to get B groceries for the week, came back, waited for her to wake up. We headed out around 11 to drop me off at Avis. By the time I had a car and was on the road it was about 11:45. I got to OH about 3:30. Lots of construction and rerouting unfortunately. Found myself in a lot of one lane situations with semis around. Didn't slow me down too much, but I think the GPS rerouted me a couple of times that weren't really needed.
Checked in, unpacked, ironed, had dinner at Red Lobster. It's right next to the hotel plus I was craving a bit of seafood. Came back, watched some tv, played some games, went to bed. Nothing exciting there.
Three days of custom work. This week is a bit different than normal. Not actually teaching this week. I am here because this client can't get their shit together and give me remote access. Just like the folks down in Monrovia. So, I have to be onsite. I have three days to get stuff done. Hopefully it will be enough time. We shall see.
