Who loves last minute schedule changes? Not me, but that doesn't matter because they happen anyway! Yay! Okay, so I was supposed to go to OH tomorrow, then NJ, then home for two weeks, then back to OH. Now? Add a trip to Seattle where the second OH was, push that out a week, and add a trip to OK after that. Oh and now I have to schedule all my own public classes for 3rd quarter. The upside is I am pissing marketing off. They have this stupid webinar they want me to deliver and as I have told them in the past, my schedule changes too frequently for me to book out for shit a month or more in advance. Sorry. I gave them all the material, all the demos, everything. ANYONE can present this shit. You don't need me. Asshats.
So yeah. Even with everything going on at work and all the changes, I have work at least through 3rd quarter as expected. After that, who knows.
Meanwhile, B spent the day out helping a friend who doesn't currently have a car thanks to a nasty accident. He needed to get to some doctor appointments to check his back and shit so she drove him around. He did offer to put gas in the car but the poor guy has $10 to his name since he can't work right now. Meh, it's karma. When we need him, I feel he will be there.
B also brought home one of her sisters for the weekend. Fun times. They played board games, we ate pizza, and watched a movie. It makes them both happy to spend time together so it is what it is.
Today they are going to do some craft stuff. I am going to stay out of the way. It's what I do best.
Oh, did I mention B captured the garage mouse a couple weeks ago? We've had it down in the basement in an old 10 gallon tank we had. Turns out it was pregnant and we now have like 6 mice in the cage. Don't know what I'm going to do with that. Not really happy about being the mouse king. Sigh.
I'm actually looking forward to going on the road. I need to get out of the house for sure.
