Yesterday was a good day. I left the house aorund 5:10 to head to the airport. The kid landed around 7. We had a great time catching up and talking on the way home. Boy have I missed her. We got back to the house and she relaxed for a while. Around noon we headed to Frankenmuth for the day.
We shopped, we ate, we talked. It was a really nice time. We also had super nice weather for once. It was mid 50s which while still chilly, the sun was out. We had the big ol' chicken dinner. Got home around 8 and everyone crashed. The kid went right to bed and I was in bed by 9:30.
It was a good day.
