BUSY day yesterday. We did so much that I just slept for 9 hours. Insane.
We got up, had some breakfast, then at around 10 we went over to Marvin's Mechanical Museum. It's basically an arcade, but they have machines going back to the 1800s. Old love machines, kinescopes, new stuff, old pinball, new pinball, etc. It was really cool. We've been wanting to go in there since we moved here and this was the perfect chance.
After there we had lunch at a Coney to give the kid the full experience. Then we went and visited B's grandparents (dad side). That was a nice visit. We came home and me and the kid headed downtown. We got down there around 2 and walked around. We saw Comerica park, the music hall, got chocolate, waved at Canada, had food in Greektown, saw the people mover, and walked and walked. It was great.
On the way home we picked B up at her other grandparents where Jackie met the mother side and B's sisters. They were having a BBQ because it was almost 70 here yesterday. We've had perfect weather the last two days and I couldn't be happier.
Finally got home around 7 and we all just kid of collapsed. We relaxed and I showed the kid pics from Australia. Around 9 B went to bed, and around 10 me and the kid went to bed.
Our last full day with her here. Got to make it count.
