I just slept for like 9 hours and it was wonderful. All the sleeping. We have decided to stay until tomorrow but we're leaving early to miss traffic. Why the fuck not?
Went into town in the morning to go to this place that makes homemade sausages, jerky, etc. In town is a beach which is called Thunder Bay. It's the inlet for Lake Huron. I have now seen and stepped in my first great lake. Neat!
We got back and took the boat out with B's dad and step mom. They are up here in the other cabin. B's grandparent's own three for the record. We were out on that lake from 11 until 5. In the lake, on the boat, brought lunch, etc. It was wonderful. Got bit by things. Not so good.
For dinnr I grilled steaks, we played scrabble, made a fire, roasted marshmallows, tried to see the northern lights, passed out a little after midnight.
One more day of this, then back to normal stuff.
