So. At the lake. Nature and stuff. Oy.

We headed out around 9, dropped our car off at B's grandparent's and swapped for their truck. There was some traffic but that was epexcted as it is a holiday weekend and we were doing the same thing as every other midwesterner - going to the lake for the weekend. Once we got off the main road it wasn't bad. Took us about 4 hours total to get up here.

The cabin is smaller than I would like, but bigger than I expected. Two bedrooms, but there's only a full bed in each so we slept in separate rooms last night. Sorry, we love each other, but we need our room.

I took a ton of pictures, we sat at the lake, we grilled burgers for dinner, we rode around in a golf cart, we tried seeing the northern lights, and went to bed around 11. Not a whole lot to report because up here there's not a lot going on.

You think there's not a lot going on. Look closer baby you're so wrong...

Shout out to my sister for her belated birthday. And to my buddy for missing his birthday too. I screwed up the entire month appartently. My apologies to both of you and hope you enjoyed your birthdays.
