Spent the day working on doc fixes. Got through one of four major changes. I need to get the rest done by Tuesday at the latest so we can send it off to the folks at UCLA. I was supposed to be teaching today and tomorrow but they moved it off my plate to work on this stuff. These guys haven't learned yet that I don't need massive number of days to do this shit. A couple of days would have been fine. Yesterday plus two days next week and I would have been good. Whatever. Add to that marketing is asking me to do their job. Fuck all of them.
Made coconut chicken for dinner. Watched some tv. Mounted a switch for B. Went to bed.
The kid is off to Thailand today. Lucky duck. She goes from Sac to Seattle to Seoul to Bangkok. Lots of travel, lots of changes. Then once they are there, they have a hopper to Phuket. Crazy stuff. I can't wait to see pictures. As of now, that's two countries she's been too that I haven't. Good for her! I am so pleased I raised a child who sees the beauty, fun, and joy in traveling. See the world, be the world, and just maybe you won't go around shooting up people.
On that note, I am sick and tired of these fucking spoiled brat white boys out there shooting people up. When will enough be enough to do something? Anyone who still stands behind this administration and the republican party in general is a complete idiot with blinders on. Or their greed has so eclispsed their morality that they have no soul. That or they simply are racist pieces of shit who don't see what these white boys are doing as wrong. None of those are good choices. So tired of all of it.
