Good times. Solid blanket of white. I went out to the grocery store VERY early yesterday and I am glad I did. I wouldn't have been able to go later. I think it's finally stopped for a while. But it's 17 degrees outside so who knows. It might just keep going.
Ironically, or serendipitously depending on how you look at it, we also had a furnace inspection yesterday. They found a gas leak and worn out capacitor on our system. $260 later things were back. The gas leak was tiny and probably wouldn't have caused problems, but it was a gas leak. So no fucking around with that. The capacitor was a small add-on to the bill and will help the furnace work better so fuck it. We only have a few more years left on that furnace so might as well make it work as well as we can.
Built new docs for the folks in PA. Didn't hear from Minn but that's not surprising as technically yesterday was a holiday for them. Of course, the longer we delay, the more it's going to cost them. Sorry, thems the rules. Should also hear back about Sacramento today. Looks like I will be heading out there the first week of December for 6 days. I will break 100,000 miles. FML. The hard part is I have to travel the Sunday after thanksgiving. Seriously? Of all days. Sigh.
Today is 11:30 - 7:30 which sucks in its own right. Then two 9-5 days. Then who knows what.
