Silence. Will take it.
The Canadian wildfires are really affecting us. The air outside smells like a campfire. Nothing but smoke for miles. I felt like I was back in SoCal all day. Any time we tried to go outside we couldn't breathe. It's bad out there.
In bigger news, the kid is going in for surgery today. Her retina has detached in her right eye. She is having a gas bubble inserted which will push it back into place. I am freaking out about this. I will know more later.
Had more traction at work. Now have direct IT support and them wondering why I am not in their group. Very surreal. This whole week has been surreal.
