Whoo! I am in Issaquah! Yeah, I don't know where the hell that is either. Somewhere where there are trees and mountains and shit. Although as far as travel days go, this one was pretty smooth. I was in a regular seat, but it wasn't horrible. This was a partner flight on Alaska and I was once again in the international terminal. I could get spoiled being in there. It's newer, cleaner, friendlier, and just an overall better boarding experience.
Left on time and arrived at SeaTac at 9am. But by the time I got to my rental car, it was almost 10. I need to keep that in mind when I leave tomorrow. I am going straight from the client at noon to the airport and need to factor in the rental car time and shuttle time and then tram time to the gate. I need at least an extra hour.
Got to the hotel around 10:30 and thankfully they were able to check me in early. I got all settled and walked across the street to a shopping mall for lunch. I had a nice lamb sandwich with garlic fries. Came back, and from 1-3 took a nice long nap. At 5 I got a call from my boss. I needed to go pick up the manuals for today. The client on this trip is Boeing and their security is tight. The poor FedEx guy got stopped at the gates and wasn't able to deliver the manuals. I had to go find the store and pick them up. Wouldn't have been bad except it was right at rush hour. Upside is it killed an hour for me. Got back, ate dinner at the hotel, talked with B, watched some TV and hit bed around 10:30.
Leaving here at 6:45 since I have no clue where I am going. Fun stuff.
