Another damn good day. We got up, had our free breakfast downstairs, then decided to go to the outlet stores near here. They were a little disappointing as most outlet stores end up being. They lure you in with the promise of ridiculously low prices but they never deliver. 70% off!! (msrp which no one is ever going to pay anyway). So while we didn't find any great deals, it wasn't horrible. B found a nice cardigan and some t-shirts. Plus it got us out of the hotel for a while. On our way back we stopped at Target for a couple of things, including my 'fabulous prizes' for my class this week. We came back and decided to download Sims 4 onto her new computer. Since it was a 9gb download, we knew it would take a while. I just checked it and it is finally done but it took all night.
We found a diner type place for dinner which was pretty good. If I were here alone, it's the kind of place I would totally eat at every night. If I come back here at any point, I will probably do just that. We didn't do a whole lot of anything else. I have needed these last few days to recuperate that's for sure.
I ended up getting into bed around 10:30 and slipping off. Don't even remember falling asleep. Just one minute I am awake and the next it's 5am. I am finally feeling rested. Thank goodness I only teach here for three days. More importantly, I don't have to be back on the road for about 3 weeks which is wonderful. Time to get ready. I need to leave here in two hours. Here we go...
