I'M HOME! FOR MORE THAN ONE DAY! Well technically I am only home for a few days. But this time B gets to come with me and we are making a weekend out of it. My next client next week is 'local' as in driving distance so therefore she can come. I have to be there M-W next week and was planning on leaving Sunday, but said fuck it, and we are leaving tomorrow afternoon and enjoying ourselves. So yeah, while I am technically only home once more for less than two days, at least this time, no airport and no being away.
As for yesterday, I got into the client around 7:30 and was done at 10:30. I was at the airport by 11:30 and since this was a partner flight, I couldn't change anything out. Trust me I tried. So I sat. Until 5pm. 6 hours almost of sitting at an airport completely bored off my ass. Plus again, since it was a partner flight, I was stuck in the back of the plane. I had a window seat at least, but we landed at 7:20 and I didn't get off the plane until 7:45. By the time car service got me to my car it was 8:30. I got a text from the pharmacy saying my prescription was ready and hauled ass to them to try and make it by 9. Got there with 6 minutes to spare. Finally made it home around 10. I was exhausted and wound up all at the same time. B and I relaxed - she watched TV and I finished the book I brought with me.
Today I am catching up on EVERYTHING. The car, laundry, bills, expense reports - you name it and I am catching up. Let the fun begin!
