Yesterday was one of the best days I have had in a long time. I was confused most of the day as to what day it actually was, but man was it enjoyable. First off I got up with no alarm which in of itself was wonderful. Then I made the wonderful discovery that my money from the state FINALLY came through. Which meant we could finally replace B's dying laptop. We got ready to go out, then went over to Best Buy. The one near us didn't have the laptop she wanted in stock and we had to drive 30 minutes away but it was okay because we got to hang out, talk, and just spend some decent time together which was nice. We got her laptop, came home, charged it up, took a nap, relaxed, ran some other errands, had a nice dinner, and then got around to setting it up. She got extremely frustrated with it right away. Why? Because one it has windows 8.1 on it which she hates, and two the amount of bloatware was insane and was dragging everything down. Took us hours to get it clean enough for it really be usable. Shit like that pisses me off. All the crap they try to force on you is ridiculous. This is why I stick with Macs. They don't do any of that bullshit. We ended up going to bed after midnight because it took so long.
Now today we leave for Sacramento and we're going to have a nice weekend there before I have to teach next week. Or else.
