It's bad here. Like really bad. Like old people dying bad. At one point it reached 105 with a feel of 125. Other than the bedroom, we were sweating to death all day. The office wouldn't drop below 90 no matter what I did. It's currently reading 77 in here and I have to work in here all day. Doing a 5-1 class today. The worst of today's heat will be around 3, but I don't know if I can make it until then. This is the kind of heat that kills computers.
We didn't do much of anything except try to stay cool yesterday. It's all we could do. I was walking around with washcloths on my head at one point.
I did make corned beef for dinner. That was okay. We also picked up a couple of new nightstands. They were on sale pretty drastically marked down and now we have plain wood matching nightstands. We have wanted plain wood so B can paint them. Trying to put those together in the heat was crazy. We both were getting hot and cranky as we each took one.
I did have a friend offer me a window unit he can't use. I am going to drive up to him (about 3 hours) while B is gone. See my sister too while I am up there in WA. But that's not until the 18th. Need to make it 12 more days. Good luck with that.
Watched a little TV; Last Week Tonight was exceptional as always. Went to bed around 10.
