The heat has arrived. It was so bad I found B asleep on the couch just now. I managed to get her into the bedroom but I honestly don't know if that was a good idea. She might have been better off staying on the couch. It's only going to get worse before the weekend is over too. We went out last night to the fancy popsicle store and stocked up so we wouldn't have to leave the house today. Unfortunately there's still a couple of things left on our list which I will be going out to get in a little while. Fred Meyer opens at 7 and I will be there when they open. Be back in the house with the AC on by 8 if I do it right.
Taught my class yesterday. Full class. 12 students in total showed up. We got through the material by 2. We need to add a little more to the class. It needs to be a little fuller and go about 30 minutes more. Since it's only a one day class we need to make sure everyone feels they got their money's worth out of it.
Made chicken tikka masala for dinner, went to the popsicle store, watched a little tv, read a little, went to bed around 11. Have a full week next week with classes including a Saturday class. By next weekend I will have made the company $20k already. This has been a good quarter and it better pay off in July. All the travel, all the odd classes. I better see the fruits of my labor. I even had a 5am class next week. Reward time.
That's it. Nothing else going on except heat and hiding in the house.
