B has been gone for a week and still has one more week to go. She is off to her grandparent's cabin for a couple of days. Must be nice. On both counts. To be able to go and spend time in a cabin and to be the ones who have a cabin. I will sit here in our hot apartment trying not to spend any money for a week. Don't worry about me.
Got one thing taken care of yesterday at least. I went to the DMV and got my motorcycle registered. It is now legal in OR for the next two years. I was very impressed in the fact that it started right up and had no issues. Took me a while at the DMV though. Got there about 8:15, left at 9:40. But it's done. $145 for two years. Came back, had tamales for lunch, watched a little TV, and finished one of my GOG games. I mean like finish, finish. I got through the whole thing. I don't think I did that when it was new.
Made lamb shank over rice for dinner. Did a little work in prep for the rest of this week. Watched one of two episodes of Penny Dreadful. Went to bed around 10.
Tonight I teach then tomorrow is my busy day. Three clients spread out throughout the day. It's going to be interesting. I have also decided I am going to Chizu on Friday night. I have been wanting cheese and dammit I will have cheese. Friday will also see carpet cleaning. Then the glorious weekend of house cleaning and not much else. One week until I get to see Chuck Palahniuk in person. I am excited about that for sure.
