Long Travel Day. If I ever started a band that's what I would name it. Long Travel Day. Because if there's one topic I know a lot about, there it is. I got up around 2am EST, left for the hotel at 2:45am mostly because the internet died and headed for the airport. Stopped for gas on the way. Was at the airport super early. Found a supposed Admiral's Club. It was pretty janky to be honest. I know they're doing renovations, but this was some chairs and a tv. Felt more like a doctor's waiting room. Turns out, I was at the old club and there was a nicer one nearer to my gate. Sigh. Okay. I ended up there until time to board my flight. Got to Phoenix at 8:45am PST and killed an hour until my next flight. As I was boarding I got my upgrade. Yay. Had a nice lunch of BBQ chicken salad and was able to sleep for an hour.
Landed at PDX at 1pm PST. Finally got home around 2:30. So 14 hours from get up until get home. Then we did mail, unpacked just so I can repack for tomorrow, made B's car reservation, dealt with some stuff for her like her insurance policy changing, then we went to dinner. Had German food at a place we like. It was pretty good. At least mine was. Hers was a little off. Sorry.
Got back home and relaxed. We got into bed around 10 and I promptly fell asleep. Today is check in, laundry, pack, and then who knows. Some tv and nothing? Okay, that sounds good to me. I leave in 23 hours so let's make the best of it.
