I don't normally teach with the lights on, but since I have to start a class in an hour, I think I might need to leave the lights on or I will fall asleep. This is going to be a weird day.
I finally yesterday figured out why I hadn't heard from my boss. He eventually responded to some emails at like 2pm and it's because he is in Vegas. He's at the convention B and I were supposed to be at. The one where we got married two years ago. None of us peons went this year because IBM wasn't comping any tickets and we aren't having a booth. It's only a handful of people there for meetings and dinners. It's all good.
Although, thanks to the lack of communication, I spent most of yesterday thumb twiddling. I did a bunch of reading at least. Got some knowledge in me. Played some WoW, watched some tv. B needed to go over to her cousin's place around 1 and I went with her. They were on a day trip to Mt Hood and needed someone to go over and walk the dog. Since it was the middle of the day traffic wasn't horrible and we were there and back in less than an hour. I needed to get out of the house anyway. I did go out at 6am yesterday to do some grocery shopping, but that was it. I needed a break.
Had Zoup for dinner which we got on the way back from the dog walking. Ate at 5pm because I went to bed at 7. Managed to sleep from 7 until almost midnight. No less than a normal night. Now to convince myself of that while I teach from 1am to 9am. This is going to be fun.
