I am home! For a whole week too! The last day of class devolved. It devolved into one of those kind of mentoring days I tend to have. I blame myself in part as I started to not take over but overshadow the other two students. One didn't speak english fluently and was more quiet to begin with, while the other one was a nice guy but he was focused on doing the demos. I had made it through the material by 9 and was mostly twiddling. I ended up leaving at 11. I would suspect the rest of the class wasn't that far behind me.
Traffic was a bear in a few places, but for the most part it was ok. I asked B to meet me at Avis so we could drop off the car yesterday instead of waiting for today. One less thing I have to do this weekend. We met around 2, took care of the car and we were home by 3. She had grabbed us some food on the way over which I appreciated. Went home, ate, unpacked, started laundry, and settled in. She ended up taking a nap from like 4:30 - 6:30. I worked in the office. I ordered a new monitor while I was gone and needed to rearrange the desk and get it setup. It is. I am happy.
Finished laundry, had some dinner around 8, watched Eurovision part 2. Tonight is the big finale. We see who is champion for 2017. Went to bed around 10. Slept well and long.
Today I have a few things to do - bills, shoe cobbler, groceries, post office. If I do it right, I should be done by 10 and have no obligations the rest of the weekend. Here goes nothing.
