It was 92 at home yesterday. Had a thunderstorm and pouring rain here for part of the day. It's supposed to be back down to 60 when I get home tomorrow. I so far this year haven't had to deal with a day over 80. This is not a complaint mind you. This is me being grateful to the weather gods. At some point I am going to melt and die, but not yet thank you very much.
Straight forward day yesterday. Taught a large group of 12 people. 10 of whom I have taught before. We went from 9 until about 4:45. I tried stopping at Target to look for a pair of pants but struck out. Grabbed Jimmy John's on the way back and had dinner in my room. Watched some TV. I watched this week's American Gods and wasn't happy with this week's episode. It was Laura and Shadow's backstory which is not in the book and felt forced. It didn't have the same flow as the first episodes have had. It didn't add anything to the story either. Overall in the book while Laura is an important catalyst, she's not an important character as I read it. Having an entire episode dedicated to her was filler. Not a fan. I also watched some Doctor because why not.
Went to bed around 9:45. I slept better last night. Finally got the room temperature where I wanted it and was able to get comfy. Now of course, tonight I sleep on the couch and get up at 1am for a 5am flight. Sigh. But then I am in my own bed tomorrow.
Other than bed early tonight, I am doing day two of the material for this group. Don't expect any issues. Wish me luck.
