Today was my one and only day to sleep in for a week and I managed to do it. Somewhat. Granted I didn't go to bed until almost midnight making my total hours of sleep not all that great. But at least I can feel like I wasn't up when it was dark.

Yesterday was better than I had anticipated it being. I was downtown at PSU and due to construction on the light rail system I decided to drive in rather than take a chance at being later than I wanted. This meant I knew I would deal with some traffic if I didn't leave early enough. I ended up leaving too early. I didn't realize where I was going was such a straight shot off the freeway. I left here around 5:30 and was in a parking garage by 5:50. Oh well. Live and learn.

The group was good. For once, the group was the appropriate target audience across the board for the material. Rare that it happens that all students are qualified and good to go. Especially when there are 12 like this class. I had one student show up late due to an emergency but I ended up working with her during lunch and she caught right up. Surprising but nice.

I finished up around 4, about 30 minutes early. Didn't get home though until 5. While it was pretty easy getting back on the freeway, there were some pockets of traffic. Most of it on the surface streets.

When I got home we went for Indian food for dinner. I wanted something that would result in leftovers for tonight so B can have the food in the house for next week while I am gone. Mission accomplished. After dinner we went to the grocery store to get her a couple of things to make sure she is good.

Dyed my hair, did laundry, packed for the week. It's starting to get warmer and I pulled out the AC units for her for next week too. May not need them until Monday or Tuesday, but now they are out and ready to go. Around 9 we settled in to watch Lego Batman. Excellent movie. Really enjoyed it. They have done a great job with these movies.

Today I have to check in for my flight shortly but that's about it. Neither of us wants to leave the house. Sounds like a good plan to me.
