Having one of those "what day is it?" kind of weeks so far. Traveling on a Sunday added with how long I spent at DFW is throwing me off. I did find out that two of my students were on the same delayed flight as me and actually passed me when they boarded. Oops, sorry you're heading back to coach while I am up here comfy.
Had a good day. I am in the basement of a building once again, but it wasn't horrible. 12 students, 11 of whom know what they're doing, There is always one isn't there? She's okay, just moving a little slower than the rest of the group. No real issues just not quite going as fast as I would like. Taught from 9 until 5. Pretty much went all they way. I think we finished at 4:50 which is perfect. I don't feel like we're going to need Thursday which will be nice. I won't be able to change my flights probably, but I will be able to have a quiet day sitting in the hotel. We shall see. In the end, I can see them asking me to come in for a half day which is fine with me as I need to leave early on Friday morning. As long as I can get some sleep I will be happy.
Ate at a restaurant they all suggested. It's like a Shari's down to the pie and everything. It wasn't bad. Had a chicken pot pie that was pretty tasty. I got a couple of pies to bring to my class today. There better be some appreciation going on for that I tell you what.
Finished watching season 1 of Beyond. It was okay. A little too campy and corny for me, but it was worth watching. If there ends up being a season 2 I will watch it. That was about it for the night. Had dinner, stopped at Target for eye drops, watched three episodes of tv. Went to bed around 10. Slept okay. A little too dry here for me.
Pretty much a repeat in store for me today.
