Here it is - the end of another year! We enter year 10 as of tomorrow. Let's do a quick recap shall we? Life isn't bad. Yep, that's it. Life isn't bad. Five years ago I was drinking, depressed, and had $200 in my savings account on a good day. Now I have $6500, am close to paying off all my debt, and in the last six months have had one glass of wine. Not fucking bad. I have a wife who actually loves me. I am fat, but fat and happy sometimes go together, don't they? I brought my credit score from 500 to 680. Something must be working right.
It's 2:45am and I am waiting for airport security to open. Leave here at 5CDT, dallas, then land at 11am PDT. Should be home by noon.
Yesterday wasn't bad. The class went fine and no issues there. The hotel though? Ugh. Friday at a family friendly hotel on a holiday weekend. Fuck that. I was annoyed most of the night. But I managed to get 4 hours of sleep. I don't have any upgrades but I should be able to sleep at least 2 hours from Dallas to home. We shall see.
You know, I am pretty happy. It's been a rough 9 years at times, but it could be worse. I could be dead.
