I slept in the guest room last night so we could both have a decent night's sleep. But what pisses me off is she didn't go to bed until 3:30am. I could have had the majority of the night in my own bed. But no. Regardless, I did have a good night's sleep as needed.
Spent the day finishing up the first of two new classes. The second emerged as an off shoot of the first. There was stuff I wanted to put into the first but it was making things too complex and I decided it should be it's own half day class. Plus it gives me more to work on. Especially now since we apparently just hired a new COO. I don't trust the guy. Seems like a hatchet man to me. We shall see.
Made salmon for dinner. After dinner I went to the store to get some stuff and was disgusted. 10 out of 12 employees impromperly wearing masks. Either below the nose, on the chin, or just not at all. One did fix theirs but not until she realized I was staring at her with a look of disbelief. THIS is why we still have thousands of cases being added every day. THIS is why hundreds of people are still dying. This shit isn't over people. Almost 44,000 new cases with 1400 deaths YESTERDAY. Grow the fuck up people. Think about someone other than yourself for 30 fucking seconds.
Oh and most of CA is on fire. I have friends and coworkers surrounded by wildfires right now. For once that doesn't include the kid thank goodness. She's holding in there doing her thing. She's been producing some great artwork lately. So damn proud of her.
The rest of the country? You can all go fuck yourselves.
