I had a really bad night. My back is killing me. I woke up twice with extreme back pain. Once at 3:15 and again at 4:30. I need to find the right setting for the bed. I have been trying some different settings and this one does not work. Period.
We put out fall/Halloween decorations yesterday. I went to the pet store for pet stuff and Ace for an extension cord for the new tanks. Speaking of leaving the house - B wanted to know if I was interested in going to a cider mill today. First off, cider mills do not evoke the same pleasant childhood memories for me as they do for her. I never went to a cider mill in my life until I met her. I don't even know of any where I grew up. MAYBE if you drove an hour into the boonies there was one, but without the traditional concept of seasons that other areas experience, it just wasn't a thing. So they don't do anything for me like they do her. To me it's a bunch of standing around in line to order something I don't like the taste of anyway. But this year there's a spin. I have been really trying to only leave the house for essential stuff. The things I went out and got yesterday were absolutely essential. The idea of going to a place where in the past it was close contact with other humans standing in line? Um, pass? Look I am just as fatigued by this shit as you are woman, but I won't risk my health for cider. I should also point out MOST of these places are not pumpkin patches. That we did have and that I do have good memories of as a child. These are literal farms and mills with apple trees and a cider making section. MAYBE they have a corn maze or a hay wagon ride. Again, things I give zero fucks about.
Watched some tv, had pasta for dinner.
