I wish I could say I slept in, but the truth is, we didn't go to bed until almost midnight, then I struggled to fall asleep, so realistically I got about 4, maybe 5 hours. Bleh.
Yesterday was okay. Started out pretty basic with me going to the grocery store. Well, three to be exact, because you know, MI. I took a nap. B took a nap. B's grandfather called and is taking her to the cabin this week. I'm okay with it because this will be B's last chance to go up there for the year. Between weather and surgery, it would be a challenge to get back up there before winter. Which means I am going to be on my own starting tonight until Thursday. We were planning on having a quiet night when our friend asked if he could come over. He had been at a funeral during the day and didn't want to go home to an empty house. I get it. Come over. We socialized until 10. Then since B is leaving, we had to do feeds and prep everything. Hence why we went to bed at midnight.
B will be leaving around 10 this morning. Tomorrow's post will probably be pretty boring. Same for the next few days since they're not going to be home. Sorry in advance.
