August 27 2021. What the fuck. How did it get to be the end of August and how the hell did it get to be 2021??I know I sound like an old fool saying that but jeez where have the last 10 years gone? I honestly didn't realize the date until last night when I realized I missed my friend's birthday. Apologies were sent late last night at my oversight, but I still feel bad.
What's the state of the world right now? Afghanistan is a mess. People are still dying from stupidity. The housing market and car market are insane. In general it's a shitshow with no end on the horizon. Most of us feel helpless, overwhelmed, and just beyond done. The ignorant march forward in their hazy bliss of being right(eous). Tired is the new norm. Weight of the world is on our backs. Collectively we are the worst mentally than ever.
Yet we still get up every day and do it again. What the fuck I ask again.
I guess it beats the alternative.
My major accomplishment for the week? Watching all 51 episodes of Full Metal Alchemist. Go me.
