Y13 D85

So I've had hair now for 36 hours. Still getting used to it. I *feel* it on my head which is weird. But I definitely feel it less than I did 24 hours ago. It's starting to just be a part of my head. Today will be the first day I rinse and condition it. Which means styling. Let's see how that goes.

More doc work. Still waiting to hear back on a proposal for the entire last week of the month. I know September will be busy but this slow point of August is starting to drive me nuts. I have at least one class next week which will be nice. Otherwise, on hold.

B came home early from the cabin. Her grandfather knew if he stayed too long he would push himself and hurt his back. He decided he had done enough for the week and was being safe. Smart man. B was okay with this because her uncle was driving her nuts. He is so used to being up there alone that he forgets basic courtesy sometimes. He woke her up with the tv blaring and then he would fall asleep in front of it. Look, the one thing we do not do is interfere with B's sleep. Do not poke the sleeping tiger kids. Because of this she was okay with getting on the road as well. They got back about 6:30.

Before they got home I did some light cleaning. During that cleaning I was fed up with our vacuum and nearly tossed it out into the street. We've abused the hell out of this vac for 6 years and it was just time for a new one. I have a new one arriving today. One thing you're not supposed to use our vac with is kitty litter. The one thing we use it for all the damn time. Oops. Now we will have dedicated kitty litter vac and one for normal cleaning. Got the Dyson Animal 2 upright. Let's see how it does. Old age = the point in your life where you get excited about appliances. 

Binge watched a show last night. Brand New Cherry Flavor. I was a couple episodes in already but with the third one I was hooked. I stayed up until 11pm finishing it. If you like David Lynch/Cronenberg type weird shit, watch this show. Not for everyone for sure. Naked Lunch meets Lost Highway kind of vibe. I can't say too much though as it is rife for spoilers with even the slightest hint. I liked it, but I am weird.
