Had an alright day yesterday. B got a wild hair up their butt at around 5pm though and decided to repaint the master bath. I was impressed at how little they managed to drag me into this project this time. Usually when "they" start a project, "we" end up doing it. Not this time. Minimal help was needed. I am okay with that. We've moved from throwing ourselves out of cars to painting bathrooms. Take the win. It looks really good too. Not everything is back up on the walls, but they finished painting around 10pm so well done!
I cooked yesterday to use up leftovers in the fridge. Made curry chicken salad and deviled ham. Now I have stuff for lunches this week. Plus I enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking. We had to go to the store for some stuff, but it was okay. Our friend's birthday is tomorrow and B is going to make a fancy cake. She was missing a couple of ingredients for the frosting. We also got her sisters some Xmas gifts. We still haven't been able to see her sisters. Originally it looked like we would see them around Xmas and because they didn't give us a present list until like the 20th, we had planned on giving them cash. Now because of the state of the world, we aren't sure when we will see them, we decided to get them actual gifts. For the older one, some headphones, for the younger, some random Amazon things.
All in all a non-eventful Saturday. Let's hope for a repeat today. Some times I miss the drama of my Saturday nights, but then I think about how much of it was just drama and am grateful for quiet. Okay, maybe a little drama would be nice. But just a little!
