B HAS RETURNED! There is joy in Mudville! It took her all day and she was frustrated as hell, but B has returned. Her day started off with a flight change. Her first flight was canceled and she went from leaving at 6am to leaving at 8:30. That would have been okay except it only gave her an hour to get on her next flight home. She boards and whoops the plane is broken. They don't leave until after 9. She misses her connecting flight by mere minutes. As a result they put her on a 4pm flight giving her 4 hours plus to kill in Dallas. I fucking hate DFW and now she does too.
While she was dealing with all that I taught. I taught until 3 and then got ready to pick her up. I left the house around 4:30 and ended up waiting almost 2 hours for her flight to finally arrive. Her luggage made her connecting flight which freaked her out. We were waiting at baggage claim and on a hunch I went into the luggage office and yep, her bag was already there.
We stopped at In N Out on the way home to let traffic die down. Got home around 8 and unpacked all her stuff. She brought home some memory kind of things - blankets, pictures, etc. She also brought home her PS2 so we now have a PS2 in the house. Okay.
Around 9 she collapsed and went to bed. She hasn't slept well since she left and fell right asleep. I followed shortly behind her at 10. She has to work today and I have a mentoring session. Then tomorrow we go to the park. Oh thank goodness.
