Been up for a while, but needed to pay bills and do address changes. I have a few more to go, but I knocked out everything that was due and changed the addresses when I paid them. Nothing like sending out $1000 in bills. I wish my $3000 from the state would hurry up. I have already resent them the damn return. Sigh.
Yesterday was pretty mellow. We took care of some odds and ends but it was a down day. I had a couple of calls for work that I handled. We also took a bunch of books over to a local game store and traded them in for store credit. I had about 30 role playing books and I didn't want to pack or move them. I didn't use them and frankly they were given to me so it's not like I spent any money on them. In trade we got a couple of card games (new version of Fluxx, Aquarius, and Dr Who) and some dice. Much easier to pack and a lot lighter.
We came back and just hung out. We played one of the new games, then went out for mexican. One of our friends came over and we re-homed the microwave to her and her boyfriend. Our new place has a built in and we didn't want to lug the one we had nor see it go to a stranger. It was a $200 microwave and I 'sold' it to her for $20. She wouldn't take it for free and I wouldn't accept a lot of money. Everyone was happy. They left around 11 and we went off to bed.
Today is a big day. If ain't nailed down, it gets packed is today's motto. I also have to put the battery in the motorcycle to make sure it's ready for tomorrow. The last time I tried it wouldn't hold a charge so I need to make sure it will start before tomorrow morning. I may be making a trip to the bike store since this one has a warranty.
That's about it. Got a check in reminder for the next show. Hm. Maybe I will let that sit for a while.
